The Tamilnadu Civil Supplies Corporation, TNCSC, is inviting eligible and interested job seekers to apply for their recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer. Vacancies have been identified in the posts of assistant engineer civil, assistant engineer mechanical, assistant engineer electrical, and assistant engineer computer.
In these posts, there are respectively 17, 2, 2, and 2 vacancies. For all the posts, those with bachelor in engineering are eligible, and specifically civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering are respective requirement for AE civil, AE mechanical, and AE electrical. For AE computer, those with engineering in computer science, as well as information technology can apply.
TNCSC published the AE recruitment 2019 notification in leading dailies of the state, in print media. Now, the corporation has made the application form available at tncsc.tn.gov.in. Filled in forms, with certificates, will be received only until December 13, 2019.
Dates of exams, interviews shall be announced later. Whereas TNCSC recruitment notifications related to exam dates are always made available on the official website, the same may also be reported in the papers.
The posts will be filled up as per the provisions under regulation 4(g) chapter I of TNCSC employees service regulations 1989 through employment exchange, and by accepting applications from candidates who have the requisite qualifications.
Assistant engineer post is eligible for pay matrix level 16, that is Rs 36,400 – Rs 1,15,700.
TNCSC has recently also released application form for assistant post, and announced exam date for shift engineer. The exam for direct recruitment to the post of shift engineer will be held on November 24, 2019, from 10 am to 12 noon. Exam centre is The New College, No. 87/147, Peter’s Road, Royapettah, Chennai 14.
How to apply for TNPSC AE recruitment 2019?
Prospective applicants are required to download the form from tncsc.gov.in. Then print it, and fill it up. The filled in form with self attested xerox copies of certificates, and 2 recent passport size photographs need to be sent to the address mentioned in notification –

With the application form, certificates as proof of qualification, experience, community will be required.
The various details to be filled in the form include post applied for, advertisement number and date, name of candidate, gender, date of birth, age as on 1st July of the year 2019, father’s name, mother’s name, marital status, spouse name, place of birth, mother tongue, other languages known, nationality, religion, address for communication, permanent address, educational qualifications, mobile number, email address.
