Tamil Nadu Medical Recruitment Board (TN MRB) has published notification for recruitment to 1508 vacancies in the post of laboratory technician grade 3. Online registration is now open for the advertised posts. The last date to apply online, editing details, printing the form, paying fee online is December 9, 2019. Application fee can be paid offline until December 11, 2019.
For TN MRB laboratory technician recruitment 2019, there are 465 vacancies of GT category, 398 for BC, 53 for BC(M). Then there are 301 vacancies of MBC / DNC, 226 of SC, 45 of SC (A) and 20 for ST.
Selection will be in regular time pay scale in Primary Health Centres under the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Department. The consolidated pay for this post is Rs 8000 per month.
Candidates are required to be between 18 to 30 years of age if belonging to OC. the upper age limit for OC who are differently abled persons is 40, it is 48 for ex-servicemen, and 57 for destitute widow. SC, ST, SCA, BC, BCM, MBC and DNC is 57 years.
To be a laboratory technician grade 3, one should have passed plus two exam, that is class 12th. Also, they should be possessing certificate in medical lab technology course of 1-yr duration, and have good physique as well as good vision and capacity to do outdoor work.
Selection shall be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in their academics and technical qualifications. 50% weightage will be given to one year CMLT certificate, 30% to HSC or PUC marks, and 20% to SSLC or class 10th marks. There will not be any interview for the purpose of selection to this post.
Application fee against submission of application form for this recruitment is Rs 300 for SC, SCA, ST, DAP (PH), and DW. it is Rs 600 for all others.

How to apply for TN MRB Laboratory Technician recruitment 2019?
Prior to filling the registration form, candidates should keep scanned copy of colour photograph, and signature. It is also recommended to read the detailed notification available at mrb.tn.gov.in notification page.
To apply, candidates need to go to mrb.tn.gov.in and register through the online registration link. The said page contains links of all ongoing recruitment, and there, clicking against the register link of advertisement number 18/MRB/2019, post Laboratory Technician Grade III, opens the registration form.
Candidates need to submit all the details asked in the form. Details to be entered include personal, education, communication data. One has to also upload photograph and signature, wherein the signature should also have name in block letters.
Fee can be paid either online through netbanking, credit card, debit card, mobile wallet; as well as offline through Indian Bank challan. If paying through challan, the form will be successful only of payment is made within 2 working days from date of registration.
