Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) has deferred the issuance of TN Forest Watcher admit card 2019 to September 30 due to administrative reasons. Initially the hall ticket was supposed to release on September 27.
For the previous date, the time at which hall ticket download was supposed to start was 10 am. Corresponding timing for the new date has not been provided. Nevertheless it is expected to happen at the same time, that is 10 am on the new date.
The exam date for TN Forest Watcher recruitment 2019 remains unchanged. Last date to download the admit card has been notified as October 6, which is also the last exam date.
If a candidate had applied multiple times, and has thus received more than one admit card against different registration numbers, then they should retain only one admit card and return the remaining ones to TNFUSRC stating the facts.
Candidates must appear in the exam at the center specified in the admit card. The committee will not accept requests for center change. Further, a candidate appearing for exam in any other center than the one allotted, shall be be invalidated.
At the center, all test takers are required to show their hall tickets when asked for. Only pen and admit card are allowed inside the exam hall. Items such as notes, pencils, books, guides, pen drives, blue tooth devices, earphones, airpods, mobile phones, or any gadget will not be allowed.
The computer based tests for forest watcher recruitment will be held from October 4 to 6, in total seven batches. On the first and second dates there will be two batches on each day. Whereas on the third day, there will be three.
Timing for batches first and second on October 4, and October 5 are 10 am to 1 pm, and 3 pm to 6 pm. In the first batch, reporting time is 8.30 am and gate closing time is 9.30 am. In second, reporting time is 1.30 pm and gate closing time is 2.30 pm.
Whereas on the third day, exam for first batch will be from 8.30 am to 11.30 am, second from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm, and in third it will be from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Reporting time for respective batches will be 7 am, 11 am, and 3 pm. Gate closing times will be 8 am, 12 noon, 4 pm.
The paper will have 150 multiple choice questions, all on general knowledge. Maximum marks that can be obtained will be 100. There will not be any negative marking in the exam.
TN Forest Watcher recruitment 2019 is for 465+99 (earmarked to ST youths from specified districts) vacancies. The post is eligible for level 3 of pay matrix, for Rs 16,600 – Rs 52,400. SSLC pass candidates were invited to apply for the post against Advertisement No. 1/2019 in March-April. Prior to forest watcher, TNFUSRC conducted direct recruitment to the posts of Forester, Forest Guard and Forest Guard with Driving Licence.
