The last date to apply for TISSNET 2020 is today, November 30, 2019. Before the application process closes, interested candidates can apply for TISSNET 2020 at admissions.tiss.edu. Tata Institute Of Social Science (TISS) conducts the TISSNET for admission in MA courses in the institute. Candidates belonging to places where no Internet and Telecommunication facilities are available can apply offline until December 3, 2019.
Candidates done with their bachelor or master degree of 3 or 4 year duration or its equivalent or 10+2+2+1 year bridge pattern or others completing the mandatory requirement of 15 years formal education can apply. Candidates who will complete this criteria by June 8, 2020 can also apply.
Applicants fulfilling the TISS MA admission requirements can apply for the TISSNET application form online by today’s deadline. But first, they have to register for it and for that they have to visit the official website of TISS, tiss.edu, click the admission link to land upon tiss.edu/admissions. There, against Master in Arts Programmes, click view all link. Then navigate to the how to apply section, and click the online application form link.

Registration requires entering details such as email id, source from where you knew about admission, device used to search for info, whether applied earlier for TISS or not. Candidates then have to log in with their email id and password in the login page. After that, they have to fill details in 5 sections. Starting with personal information, academic qualification, upload program, select program and pay the application fee.
Now for candidates who are applying through offline mode. They have to send an application request through speed post. The speed post has to be in the name of concerned official, so as to reach the same by the deadline.
TISSNET is a computer-based exam done by Tata Institute of Social Science every year for admissions to Masters (Master of Arts / Master of Science / BEd-MEd Integrated ) Programmes. It contains 100 objective type questions divided in three sections English proficiency (30), mathematics and logical reasoning (30), general awareness (40). It is going to be in one language English and the duration of the test is 2:00 pm to 3:40 pm.
TISS Admission 2020 is going to be done based on three stages. First TISSNET then Personal interview, and merit list in the end. Candidates qualified in TISSNET are going to be called for a personal interview round. After that, the merit list is going to be released base on the aggregate score gained by applicants in both stages and their preference of programs in application form.
Note that this time, per TISS, “Candidates applying for MA (HRM&LR) and / or MA (ODCL) programmes, are required to appear for the TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT) in addition to the TISS-NET Examination.”
