Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will release application form to apply for BA admission offered by the institute today, on December 5, 2019. The form will be released online on admissions.tiss.edu and will remain available until March 23, 2020. The admission will be based on the scores of registered candidates appearing in the TISS Bachelor’s Admission Test (BAT) 2020.
The announcement regarding BA admission in TISS was made on October 15, 2019. Coming to the admission test, BAT 2020, it will be an exam of 2 hours duration and will be held on April 25, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm. To be eligible to apply for TISS BAT 2020, the eligibility is either 10+2 qualified/appearing form any stream.
To apply for TISS BA admission 2020, candidates have to submit the application form before the deadline. The process of application includes registration, email verification, filling the application form, uploading documents and paying the application fee.
The application fee for this year has yet not been declared, however, last year the fee charged to submit the form was Rs.1025 from the general and OBC candidates. SC, ST, and OBC (NC) candidates had to pay Rs. 250 and the SC and ST candidates with family income more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs were charged Rs. 500.
The registered candidates will get an online admit card to appear for BAT 2020 from April 11 to 12, 2020. Via the admisison test, the candidates will get admission in BA social sciences and social work. These courses are offered at TISS Tuljapur campus and Guwahati campus.
The result of the admission test will be out on May 15, 2020. After which the selected candidates have to upload documents needed for admission online and also remit the admission fee by May 25, 2020. This is followed by selected candidates appearing for physical document verification and confirmation of admission at the respective campuses where they have been selected.
If required, the first wait list will be also declared on May 28, 2020. The candidates who get selected in the waitlist will have to upload documents and remit the admission fee between June 10 to 20, 2020.
