Recently, Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has revised the admission announcement date for TISSNET 2019. Earlier, the registration was supposed to start from October 22, 2018. In the latest update on the official website, the application forms will now release on October 26, 2018.

The registration process has been delayed by four days. With this, the application window will remain open for 46 days only. There has been no change in the last date of registration which is December 10, 2018. The exam conducting body may or may not change other important examination dates in future.

TISSNET 2019 Registration Date

Previously on October 15, 2018, TISS changed the exam date for TISSNET. The exam was preponed to take place on January 13, 2019, instead of January 19, 2018. Since the exam dates by the exam body are frequently changing, candidates must keep track of the official website to avoid missing any deadline.

TISSNET registration will start for the National Entrance Test for admission in M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H. courses. There is one common examination for all the courses though candidates can apply for a maximum of three courses only. Further, admission in TISS is based on performance by a candidate on the entrance test, Pre Interview Test (PIT), and Personal Interview (PI).

Admission in the NIRF Rank #49 is pretty hard to take given that the few numbers of seats and high competition. The entrance exam is itself easy but clearing the cut off is a hard nut to crack. Still, preparing for the general knowledge section thoroughly gives leverage to score high in the exam.

Aspirants preparing for other national level exams find easy to prepare at least two out of three sections in the exam. TISSNET is one the few exams in which there is no negative marking. In a 1 Hour 40 Minutes paper, candidates have to answer 100 questions of one mark each. Even, students do not need separate coaching for the exam, going through previous year questions paper gives the better idea of the types of questions and difficulty level of the paper.
