International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) is an interdisciplinary centre for the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). This premier research centre has now published a notification for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officer C – High Performance Computing.

Scientific Officer C- High Performance Computing position is open for candidates who have a full time masters degree in science in computer application, and at least 3 years experience in a job similar to the one detailed by the institute.
Skills required for the position include administering Debian and Red Hat Linux systems which includes configuring and maintaining linux services like DNS, DHCP, LDAP, VPN. also, candidate should have hands on experience of troubleshooting hardware and software. Perl, python, bash scripts and C, Fortran, CUDA coding should be known. Applicant of this recruitment must also know about openPBS and HTCondor, and have experience with MPI, openMP.
This position is in pay level 10, pay stage 1. Vacancy is at present in ICTS-TIFR Bengaluru, however it is transferable to other centres of field stations of the institute.
