High Court of Telangana has published nine notifications for recruitment. The total number of vacancies of these notifications is 1,539. Online application form for all were released on Monday, and will remain available up to September 4, 2019, at official website at hc.ts.nic.in.
The advertisement numbers, posts therein, and vacancies thereof, are as follows. Notification 01/2019 is of Stenographer grade 3 for 54 vacancies, 02/2019 is Junior Assistant for 277 vacancies, 03/2019 is Typist for 146 vacancies. Then 04/2019 numbered notification is of Field assistant that has 65 vacancies, 05/2019 indicates Examiner post with 57 vacancies, and notification 06/2019 is of Copyist with 122 vacancies. Notification 07/2019 is of Record assistant for 5 vacancies, 08/2019 is for Process Server with 127 vacancies, and 09/2019 is of Office Subordinate with 686 vacancies.
To apply, interested and eligible candidates need to visit hc.ts.nic.in and click on the link for online application for direct recruitment of staff in subordinate courts. Then all nine notifications can be downloaded from the first link on the page that opens. User manual to register is provided at the second place, and application link to register and fill the online application is the third link.
Those who wish to pay fee through challan can go to the TS online centres, this list is also provided on the website. Mock test for the exam has also been provided to practice for the exam for direct recruitment to the posts in the Telangana Judicial Ministerial and Subordinate Services.
The maximum number of vacancies are of Office Subordinate (09/2019, 686 vacancies). This is also the post that requires least educational qualification – class 7th pass candidates can apply.
Next highest number of vacancies is of Junior Assistant (02/2019, 277 vacancies). Educational qualification required for it is intermediate or class 12 pass. Knowledge in computer operation is also necessary.
Typist (03/2019, 146 vacancies), Copyist (06/2019, 122 vacancies) are the other two posts with over a hundred vacancies. For both, candidate must have passed class 12 and also have passed Telangana government technical examination in Enlgish typewriting by higher grade qualification or equivalent exam.
Graduation with any degree is required for Stenographer post. Intermediate pass qualification is required for Field Assistant, Examiner, and Record Assistant posts.
Age limit applicable for all posts is 18 to 34 years as on July 1, 2019.
The application fee is Rs 800 for OC and BC candidates. It is Rs 400 for SC and ST category candidates. Both online as well as offline modes are available to pay fee.
Applicants have to fill part A and part B of the application form. Part A is one time profile registration form, and part B is the application form. After submitting the first one, they get OTPR ID and password. Using this, they can apply for multiple districts. TS High Court generates unique and individual application number for each district that candidate applies for.
The selection process will comprise of online tests and interviews in all posts. There will also be a transcription test for 01/2019, typing / skill test for 03/2019 and 06/2019.
The Telangana High Court was formed as a result of bifurcation and constitution of separate High Courts for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in this year. Hon’ble Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan is the incumbent Chief Justice of High Court of Telangana. The seat of High Court, in Hyderabad, has sanction for 24 judges.
