Tata Memorial Center (TMC) has vacancies in the post of professor, in various disciplines. To fill the identified vacancies, TMC recruitment 2019 notification has been published as advertisement number 152/2019. At present, applications are also being accepted against the post. Eligible candidates can submit the application in online mode till December 20, 2019, till 5:30 pm and the hard copy of the same has to be submitted by December 27, 2019.
The various disciplines for which TMC is recruiting for the post of professor are surgical oncology, medical oncology, and anaesthesiology.
Educational qualification of interested applicants must be masters degree in relevant discipline from an institute or university recognized by MCI. Work experience is also necessary for this recruitment. For the post of the surgical oncology, a candidate must have at least 9 years of work experience and for the post of the anaesthesiology and medical oncology, the minimum requirement is 12 years.
The upper age limit to apply for these posts, as prescribed by TMC, is 55 years. However, as per age relaxation criteria, the age limit for SC/ST candidates is relaxed by 5 years, OBCs by 3 years and for the PwD candidates the same is relaxed by 10 years.

The application form for the recruitment of full-time positions is available on the official website of the center. To submit the form online, candidates have to visit the official website which is tmc.gov.in. On the home page click on the career tab available on the top of the website at left-hand side corner. A list of recruitment opens. From there, select the advertisement number 152/2019 or the link stating “ Full time positions (Medical) available at Tata Memorial Centre (TMC)”.
After clicking, a new page opens containing separate links to apply online for the various posts announced. Click on apply now button and fill in the requires details as mentioned in the form. After filling the correct details and uploading the required documents, submit the form online till the last date as prescribed.
Also as per the recruitment guidelines, candidates have to send the hard copy of the submitted application form to the center on the prescribed address: The 3rd Floor, Service Block building, H.R.D. Department, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012.
The application fee to be submitted by the general category candidates are Rs. 300 which has to be paid online via net banking, credit card or debit card. SC, St, PwD and female category candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
The selection procedure of TMC for selecting candidates only consists of an interview. The call letter for which will be uploaded on the TMC website in due course of time. The selected candidates will be hired on a pay level 13 A getting a salary of Rs. 1,31,100.
