The Short Service Commission has released the SSC Tech 58 merit list on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Those who have been shortlisted for the SSB interview round have also been notified via email on their registered email ID. This shortlisting was based on the cut-off marks decided for SSC Tech 58 branch. Shortlisted candidates now have the option of selecting their SSB dates. This round is scheduled to take place at four centers – SCN Kapurthala, SCC Bhopal, SCS Bangalore, and SCE Allahabad during the January-February 2022 period.
All shortlisted candidates who have scored equal to or beyond the SSC Tech 58 cut-off have been notified about their selection status. As of now, candidates are clueless about the cut-offs. However, the same will be updated soon on the official portal. Such candidates need to visit the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in to select their preferred date for the SSB interview. Of course, each selection center or branch will have its own slot dates.
To select the SSB Interview date, candidates must visit the official portal and click on the “Officers Entry Apply/ Login” option. By doing so, a new page will open asking for login credentials. Enter the required credentials including registered ID and password. Finally, click on the ‘login’ option to access the dashboard.
In the dashboard, candidates will find several links displayed on the screen. They are required to select the SSB Interview date selection link to book their preferred date. Of course, before doing so, candidates need to update or fill in the required information wherever needed. So that no complications arise during the actual interview session.
On accessing the date selection link, candidates will come to know their SSB Interview venue. The allotted four venues are – 1. SCN Kapurthala, 2. SCC Bhopal, 3. SCS Bangalore and 4. SCE Allahabad. After knowing the venue, candidates must click on the pencil icon to decide the interview slot.
According to sources, SCS Bangalore and SCC Bhopal are offering a total of 6 slots while SCN Kapurthala and SCE Allahabad are offering 11 and 12 slots, respectively. In the case of Bangalore, SSB interviews are scheduled from January 30 to February 17, 2022. Similarly, in Bhopal, candidates will be interviewed from January 20 to February 17, 2022.
SSB interviews at Kapurthala are scheduled to take place from January 28 to March 01, 2022. And finally, in the case of Allahabad, the Indian Army will be interviewing candidates from February 03 to 19, 2022. Candidates need to carefully choose a date which suits them the most. This needs to be done carefully as they will not be allowed to change the SSB interview slot again.
On successfully choosing the SSB interview date, candidates shall receive a confirmatory email on their registered ID. This email will specify the interview timing, reporting time, and link to detailed call-up instructions. Candidates are instructed to follow these instructions to the hilt, during the SSB interview session.
