The Staff Selection Commission has declared the Stenographer Grade C & D Skill Test Result 2017 today i.e. on November 28, 2018. Candidates can check the result at ssc.nic.in. The link to check the result is present on the homepage. The list of the candidates who have qualifies the skill test is available in the pdf format. SSC Steno Skill Test Result 2017 contains the name of the exam, the name of the candidates, and their roll number.
The skill test was conducted from August 20 to September 19, 2018. The written test was conducted from September 11 to September 14, 2017, and the result was announced on November 21, 2017.
For 2017 steno recruitment, 2,24,618 candidates appeared for the exam. For the Grade C, around 8469 candidates have appeared for the exams while for the Grade D, 15004 have sit for the exam. Out of the total appeared candidates, around 601 have cleared the exams for Grade C and for Grade D, 2211 have been qualified.
Along with the steno result, SSC has also released the cut-off marks. For the steno Grade C, the Cut off on % of mistakes for SC, ST, OBC category is 7%, for UR 5%, for OH and VH, it is 7%. The number of candidates available for the same is 77, 37, 285, 202, 6, and 3.
For the Grade D, the cutoff on the percentage of mistakes is 10% for SC, ST, and OBC, for ExS, OH, and VH, it is 10%. The number of candidates is 279, 138, 1202, 592, 1, 40, and 16 respectively.
Now, the candidates who have been selected will be called for the Document Verification process. It will be held on December 07, 2018. At the time of DC, the candidates need to report at the designated center as per the schedule provided by SSC. They will have to carry proof of Date of Birth, Category, Academic Background, Matriculation Certificate, Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate, Relevant Document if any relaxation is taken, etc for the verification. It is mandatory for the candidates to go for the Document Verification. Those who fail to do so will not be considered for any post at the time of final selection.
