SSC Selection Post Phase 7 2019

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the SSC Selection Post Phase 7 2019 on its official website ssc.nic, along with online application form. SSC will hold a computer based exam for the advertised posts from October 14 to 18, 2019. SSC Selection Post Phase 7 2019 has various vacancies of posts that require minimum educational qualification of matriculation, higher secondary, and graduation level. The exam syllabus is different for posts that are for matriculation (10th class pass), higher secondary (12th class pass), and graduation.

The last date to submit online application form is August 31, 2019. Last date to pay fee in online mode or generate offline challan is September 2, 2019. Then last date to pay fee using challan is September 4, 2019. To download the notification, candidates need to go to ssc.nic.in, click on notices, then click on others. The notification is available for download as “Phase-VII/2019/Selection Posts” with upload date August 6, 2019.

Likewise to apply, visit ssc.nic.in and click on apply. Then click on others and click the apply link against selection posts. Interested job seekers need to submit the application form before last date. There are two parts in the process of registering namely one time registration (part I), and filling the online application for the exam (part II). Information such as mobile number, email id, aadhaar number, pan card, college id / employer id has to be kept ready before proceeding with OTR. In the form, one has to upload scanned colored passport size photograph of 20 kb to 50 kb and the signature should be in 10 to 20 kb . Other documents that need to be uploaded include educational qualification certificates, caste certificates.

The application fee is Rs 100, payable through BHIM UPI, net banking, Visa, Mastercard Maestro, RuPay Credit, debit cards, SBI challan. Women candidates, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen are not required to pay any fee.

Recruitment to the Selection posts, will be made on the basis of written objective type exam. The examination for SSC Selection Post phase 7 will be as per the minimum educational qualification of Matriculation, higher secondary and graduation. The papers for all posts will have will four parts A, B, C, D, with 25 questions of 50 marks each. Part A will be General Intelligence, part B will be General Awareness, part C will be Quantitative Aptitude, and part D will consist of basic knowledge of English language. For each incorrect answer, 0.50 will be deducted.

Candidates have to qualify the cut off marks in order to get selected. The cut off marks is 35 % for UR category, 30 % for OBC / EWS, and 25 % for other categories. They will be shortlisted depending on the number of vacancies of a particular post. The shortlisted candidates in the next stage will be required to submit self attested copies of all the documents in respect to education qualification, experience, category, age along with the print out of their online application form to the respective regional / sub- offices. Scores of the candidates will be disclosed on the regional / sub-regional office’s website.
