The latest update on one of the biggest examination of the nation will give you a feeling of Déjà vu. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the date for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination. The official notification was supposed to be released on April 21st, 2018 but now Staff Selection Commission has postponed the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC-CGL) right on the spot and no dates have been announced for the examination as of now.
The reason why this gives a feeling of Deja vu is that the candidates were exactly in the same situation on February 21, 2017. Here is a quick reminder of what happened to the SSC-CGL examinations last year-
Just last year, it came to notice of the candidates that certain screenshots were being circulated all over the social media and screenshots were none other than the Combined Graduate Level examination question papers! On February 21, 2017, the SSC- Tier 2 paper got leaked and thus the examination was canceled. The paper leak had led to discourses among the candidates and examination board. The situation was then handled by giving the case forward to the Centra Buruew of Investigation (CBI) and the examination had to be conducted on March 09, 2017. However, the examination board has leveled up the security of the question papers.
Well, luckily nothing sort of that matter has happened till now but the examinations have again been postponed and now have been set for an unknown date. The only information available about the SSC-CGL examinations is that they will be happening in the month of May 2018 only.
The reason for the delay of the Combined Graduate Level examination is known to be the delay of the Tier – 3 examination. It was earlier brought into the notice of the aspirants through an official notification about the examination and the recruitment dates for the position of constable (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2018.
According to the official notification, the examination was supposed to be conducted on 5th may and the recruitment was supposed to happen on 09 June 2018. The positions speak for themselves and explain why Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level examination is one of the biggest examinations of the nation.

Passing this examination gives the candidates an opportunity to serve in various Government departments for the Group B and Group C positions.
