The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the official result date of GD Constable exam. Candidates can check the result on April 15, 2022, at ssc.nic.in. The announcement was made with the release of a Status Report today, on the official website. The result date of other SSC exams too was declared in it.
The SSC GD Constable exam was conducted from November 16 to December 15, 2021. The exam was conducted to recruit candidates to the post of Constable in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman in Assam Rifles examination. There are a total of 25,471 vacancies that will be filled based on merit and reservation policies.
What after the results are declared?
Candidates belonging to the General category, EWS and ESM will have to secure minimum 35% marks to be shortlisted for the PET/ PST. For SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the cut-off mark is 33%. In case 2 or more candidates have scored the same marks, a tie-breaking criteria will be followed in the given order:
- Marks in Part-A of the exam.
- Marks in Part-B of the exam.
- Date of Birth (Older candidates placed higher)
- Alphabetical order of candidates’ names
Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted and called up for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) which will be conducted by CAPF. Candidates’ physical fitness, height, weight, and chest measurements will be taken into account while shortlisting candidates. Reserved categories will be eligible for relaxations. Selected candidates will have to attend the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Document verification will be done in this phase. Also, NCC candidates will be given incentive marks based on A/ B/ C certifications. Candidates should bring their Class 10, 12 certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents. After this, the final admission will be done.
The final list will be prepared category-wise, state-wise and area-wise. The selected candidates should give their preferences in the order of BSF (A), CISF (B), SSB (D), ITBP (E), Assam Rifles (F), SSF (H).
