The Staff Selection Commission has released a revised tentative schedule for GD Constable Recruitment 2017 examination to be held during the year 2017-18. SSC has announced that the official GD Constable Recruitment 2017 Notification will release on August 5, 2017. Candidates will be able to apply till September 04, 2017.
The notification uploaded on the official site of the Commission, i.e. ssc.nic.in. The GD Constable Recruitment 2017 shall be held on the basis of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Computer based test and medical test. The exam for recruitment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs will commence from January 30, 2018, to February 5, 2018. As per the reports, more than 50000 vacancies are expected to be released this year.
The application form will be available soon. Candidates will need to fill personal details, education qualification, also upload a scanned copy of the photograph and signature in the application form. As per the SSC examination authority department, last year application fee for General and OBC candidates was Rs. 50/-; candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD were exempted from paying the application fee. It is expected the same procedure will be implied for this year admissions too.
The Recruitment for Constables (GD) Entrance Exam will be held in three main steps which are PET/PST, written examination and medical test. It will be a computer based examination and there shall be four section of objective type questions. There will be 25 questions for objective type and each question will carry one mark. There shall be a negative marking of 1/4th for every wrong answer. The questions in the written examination will be asked from General Knowledge & Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, English/ Hindi.
SSC has also released a notification stating that it will not entertain and accede to any request for change of examination centre, under any circumstances. This decision of the Commission may be noted and strictly complied by all candidates appearing in various examinations conducted by the Commission.
Staff Selection Commission may release SSC GD Constable 2017 Admit Card two weeks before the examination on its regional official site. The admit card is very important and must required document for each and every exam because without it candidates will not get an entry in the examination hall. Also it is always advised to candidates to keep their admit cards safe with themselves as it may be required in the later stages of application process.
The Staff Selection Commission examination department will release SSC Constable GD Cut Off 2017 at the time of declaration of result. As we know, Cut Off marks are the minimum scores that must be scored by the candidate for qualifying in SSC GD Constable exam and for further selection rounds. The SSC GD Constable Recruitment cutoff marks will set by the Staff Selection Commission examination authority. As per the data of 2015, cut off marks for general category was between 35% – 39% and for SC/ST/OBC it was 33% – 36%. However, there is no guarantee that this year, the cutoff marks will remain there could be a slight change in numbers.
The Staff Selection Commission will declare SSC GD Constable Result 2017 on the official website of SSC. Those candidates who will clear the online examination will be selected for the next round. The SSC GD Constable Result 2017 for the written examination and medical test will be declared few months after the examination. To get the position in the SSC Constable GD department, candidates will have to score as per the cut off marks, which will be declared by the SSC with result declaration.
