Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC GD Constable 2021 notification today. Reportedly, the Commission shall publish the detailed notification for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination for the year 2021 today, i.e July 01, 2021. The examination for SSC GD Constable is conducted to recruit candidates for the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF and Rifleman in AR. SSC was expected to release the official SSC GD constable 2021 notification PDF on March 25, 2021. However, the schedule got postponed due to some unarticulated reasons. The notification was then scheduled to be published in the first week of May 2021. However, no new notification was updated on the website by the official body.
Now, speculations are made that the Staff Selection Commission may release the detailed notification for SSC GD Constable 2021 in the first week of July 2021. Most probably, the SSC GD constable notification will be out today on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Hence, candidates are advised to keep an eye on the SSC website to get the latest updates.
To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates first must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. They should have passed the 10th standard from a recognized university or board. There is also a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 23 years. Candidates should be between the age range that is defined by the commission to apply for the advertised posts.
Moreover, once the notification is released, SSC shall start the SSC GD Constable 2021 registration. The application form will be available online at ssc.nic.in. At first, eligible candidates have to register themselves for the examination by clicking on the ‘New User? Register Now’ button present on the homepage. On successful registration, a username and password is generated and sent to the registered email id. Using these credentials, candidates have to login and submit SSC GD constable 2021 online application.
While applying, aspirants have to make the payment of the application fee amounting to Rs. 100/-. The fee can be paid online as well offline using credit/debit/VISA/master/maestro/net banking/challan and pay the fee to the designated branch of State Bank of India (SBI). SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates are exempted from the fee submission procedure.
The selection for the constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles is based on three stages – computer-based exam, physical efficiency test and physical standard test, and medical examination. Aspirants have to appear for all these stages and qualify to get selected for the vacant posts. The final selection will be based on computer-based examination cum preference of CAPFs/organization.
