Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published a tentative list of vacancies for the SSC CPO recruitment 2019. As per it, there are 2,745 vacancies for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, and CAPF. The vacancies for Assistant Sub-Inspector post are yet to be disclosed. This is with reference to the SSC Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector In CISF Examination 2019 paper I of which is going to be held on December 11, 2019.
There are 2,534 vacancies of sub inspector in the CAPFs, 132 for the same post in Delhi Police for men, and 79 for the same in Delhi Police for women.
Maximum SI vacancies are in CAPF, that is the Central Armed Police Forces. While the bodies under CAPF are Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Security Guard, Sashastra Seema Bal, recruitment through SSC for the SI post are for four of the branches only. In CAPF, SSC SI recruitment 2019 vacancies are divided between the five sections, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB.
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has 1040 male vacancies, and 32 female. Border Security Force (BSF) has 580 for males and 31 for females. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has 52 vacancies for males and 9 for females. Then Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has 623 vacancies for males and 69 for females. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jas 70 vacant posts for men, and 28 for women.
Thus the CAPFs overall have 2365 vacancies for men and 169 for women, bringing the total count of vacancies in the forces to 2,534.
Vacancies for male sub inspectors in Delhi Police are 132; with 61, 13, 44, 6, 8 respectively for UR, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST.
For female sub inspectors in Delhi, the vacancies are 79. There are 36 vacancies for UR, 8 for EWS, 15 for OBC, 14 for SC, and 6 for ST.
Three days ago, SSC also released the tentative vacancy position for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination 2018. For that there are 1094 vacancies of SI (GD) in CAPF, 361 vacancies of SI male in Delhi Police, and 123 vacancies of SI female in Delhi Police. As can be seen, the total comes out to be 1,578. Again, there are no vacancies for ASI in CISF.
The SSC CPO recruitment 2019 notification was released in September. Applications were accepted at ssc.nic.in from September 17 to October 16, 2019. Now admit cards have been released for the upcoming paper 1, and exam is slated to be held next week.
Paper 1 will be a 2 hour long exam with four sections with 50 questions of 50 marks each. The sections in exam will be general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and general awareness, quantitative aptitude, english comprehension.
Selection process for this recruitment entails a paper 1, followed by physical standard test / physical endurance test, then paper 2, and detailed medical exam. The minimum qualifying marks in paper 1 as well as paper 2 are 30% for UR, 25% for OBC and EWS, and 20% for all other categories.
