Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the answer key of SSC CPO and ASI Exam 2017. The examination was held on July 07, 2017, and the answer key was released on July 31, 2017. Along with the solution key, the response sheets of the candidates has also been provided. The aspirants can check both of it from the official website of the exam, which is ssc.nic.in.
The answer key of CPO/ASI exam has been provided through a login. To access the login, the candidates first need to click here. Then, the candidates will have to click on the appropriate link. It will lead to the answer key login, which will appear as shown in the image below. Next, the candidates will have to submit the Roll Number, Password, and Exam Date. On hitting the ‘submit’ button, the answer key will be displayed.
Aspirants can use the answer key to cross check the answer marked by them. After checking the correct and incorrect answers, the candidates can also estimate their score in the exam. To do so, the candidates will have to allocate marks according to the marking scheme, i.e. allocate 1 marks per correct question and deduct 0.25 marks per incorrect answer.
The SSC CPO Answer Keys are examined by the commission with the help of experts and if the aspirants come across any doubts in the answer key, then, they shall raise objections against it. The objection can be submitted from July 31 to August 06, 2017. The objections can also be submitted online, from the login and the candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 per challenge. The candidates may also submit the document of proof to support the objection.
The candidates will have to score marks over the cutoff point to qualify the exam. The result of SSC CPO will be announced on the basis of the final answer key, which will be prepared after the checking of the challenges. SSC CPO Paper II will be conducted on October 08, 2017, which will include the participation of only those candidates who will clear the PET exam. The time allotted for the Paper II will be 2 hours and the maximum marks obtainable will be 200.
The SSC CPO and ASI Exam is conducted on an annual basis. It is held for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspectors. Lakhs of individuals apply for SSC CPO Exam 2017.
A total number of vacancies, for the current recruitment, is 2221. For the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police (Male), it is 616, for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police (Female) it is 256, for Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs (Male) the announced vacancies is 697 and for (Females) it is 89. Lastly, for ASI in CSIF, the reported number of vacancies are 563.
