The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the date for the release of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Final Result 2016. The Commission will announce the result on August 04, 2017. As per the official notice, the announcement of the result will be done at 06:00 pm, on the official website ssc.nic.in. The candidates will not be notified of the result via any other medium and no scorecard will be issued in the name of the qualifiers.

The announcement about the declaration has been made on the official website of SSC CGL. The final result will be announced through a pdf. The result pdf will contain the Roll Number and Name of the qualified candidates. Along with these details, the post assigned to the candidates will also be mentioned on it.

Apart from the list of the recruited candidates, the commission will also release the marks secured by the candidates. It will also be announced through a pdf file, in which the Roll Number, Name, Date of Birth, Pre-post, and Marks in Tier 1, 2, and 3 will be mentioned.

After the declaration of result, the Commission will one by one release the list for Allocation of Departments. It will be released separately for Code H, X, and Y; which will represent the numerous departments.

The departments under Code H will be for Central Administrative Tribunal, D/o Of Electronics And Information Technology, and Vice President Sectt, etc. Under Code X, these will be for Controller General of Account, Deptt. of Post, and Deptt. of Telecommunications, etc. Generally, under Code Y the recruitment is open in Agriculture & Cooperation (M/O Agriculture), Central Information Commission, D/o Consumer Affairs, etc departments.

The announcement of result will be a relief for those candidates who are undergoing SSC CGL 2016 recruitment procedure since last year. The Tier 1 of CGL 2016 was held from August 27 to September 11, 2016. Total 38.04 lakh candidates applied for the examination. However, only 14.99 lakh candidates qualified for it.

Then, from November 30 to December 01, 2016, the Tier 2 of the examination was held. Out of the qualified and eligible 14.99 lakh candidates, only 120933 qualified for the Tier III, i.e. the descriptive paper. The Third Tier of the exam was held on March 19, 2017.

The recruitment for SSC CGL 2017 has also started. The Tier 1 for the CGL 2017 will be held from August 01 to 20, 2017. The application procedure for the examination has ended and even the admit card for the registered candidates has been released.
