The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has uploaded the answer key and response sheet for Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) – 2018. The candidates can download the SSC CGL Tier 1 2018 Answer Key online at ssc.nic.in. The Commission conducted CGL Tier-1 from July 04 to 13, 2019 at different centres all over the country. For some venues, a re-examination was conducted on June 19, 2019.
To download the SSC CGL Tier-I answer key 2019, candidates need to visit the official website of the Commission. Next, the candidates have to login by entering their User ID and password as provided in the Admission Certificate. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the details, in the next screen, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for downloading the CGL Answer Key.
Along with the Answer Key, the response sheet for the candidates has also been uploaded. Candidates should use both to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable score. To calculate the CGL Tier-I score, the candidates need to add and deduct marks as per the marking scheme. For a correct answer, candidates need to add 02 marks and since there is negative marking as well, you need to deduct 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. Use the formula below to calculate the score:
Number of correct answers * 2 – Number of incorrect answers * 0.5.
Now that the SSC CGL Answer key 2019 has been released, the candidates, if not satisfied with the option marked in the key, can submit an objection to it. The representation in respect of the tentative Answer Keys, if any, has to be submitted by online mode only. The facility for submitting an objection in the CGL provisional answer key is open till June 30, 2019 (05:00 PM). The candidates need to login by entering their user id and date of birth to submit an objection in the key and pay an amount of Rs. 100/- per objection. It is advised to the candidate to take a print out of their respective Response Sheets, as the same will not be available after the above-specified time limit.
On the basis of the objection submitted, the Commission reviews it, make the necessary changes in the provisional answer key, if required, and then publishes a final answer key. The CGL Tier-I final answer key 2019 is the basis for the preparation of the result.
Staff Selection Commission publishes the result of CGL exam at ssc.nic.in. However, the Commission releases the result write-up, as well as result containing details of qualified candidates.
