Sri Aurobindo Evening College has released a total of 29 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor, academic level 10 of 7th central pay commission pay matrix. The vacancy is available against 9 subjects. To apply for the post, online form has been released at the website, colrec.du.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is November 30, 2019.
The post of assistant professor is available in these subjects – commerce, economics, english, history, hindi, political science, applied psychology, sanskrit, and environmental studies. The number of vacancies in these subjects for the post are 09, 03, 03, 03, 02, 02, 05, 01, and 01 respectively.
The eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment in the online mode only. The application fee that is being charged to submit the form is Rs. 500/- for UR, OBC and the EWS category. The candidates of SC, ST, and PwBD category need not pay any application fee.
To apply the applicant must have 55% marks in PG in the concerned subject against which they are applying. Apart from that, the applicant must also qualify National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR.
If an applicant do not have the above qualification, then other criteria that will suffice is a Ph.D. degree from a foreign University / Institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the world University ranking at anytime. Rankings by these institutitions are valid: Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) , The Times Higher Education (THE) or The Academic Ranking Of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
To fill the application form, candidates have to register on the website, colrec.du.ac.in. After registration, it is mandatory to confirm the email id using the verification link sent on the same. The link leads to the login page, where the applicants have to login using the email id and password. Then the applicants need to complete the application process.
Note that, if an applicant has applied in the subject/department and college for the same position in any of the previous advertisement or its addendum/corrigendum, then they need to provide the reference no. of the previous application.
To complete the application process, candidates have to provide general details, qualification details, experience details, publication and awards details and some additional information.
Apart from that, towards the end and just before the payment, candidates have to upload scanned images of photo, signature and class 10 or 12 certificates indicating the date of birth of the applicant. Then the last stage is payment of the application fee using online payment mode.
