Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has released the notification for Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operation (PGDGBO). Every year, the college conducts its own examination known as PGDGBO or SRCC GBO for the shortlisting of candidates for the two-year post-graduate programme. It is a prestigious course for candidates who want to pursue a management programme in international business. The course is similar in lines with the MBA/PGDM programme offered by IIMs.
The registration for SRCC GBO 2019 will start from December 24. 2018. The application window will be available for only 1 month until January 25, 2019. The forms will be available on the official website of SRCC at www.srccgbo.edu.in. Candidates will able to access the form on the “Admission to PG Diploma in GBO 2019-21 Batch” tab. The application fees are Rs 2500/- and Rs 1500/- for General & Foreign National Category and SC/ ST/ PWD respectively.
Candidates who have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation are eligible to apply for the online exam. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC, ST, PWD, and OBC category. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Such candidates have to submit the final mark sheet at the time of final admission.
SRCC has also notified the exam date for SRCC GBO 2019. It will be held on February 24, 2019 (10:00AM-12Noon). The exam will take place in the online mode in 20 cities all over India. Though the Personal Interview will conduct in Delhi at the college address only.
The computer-based test will have 160 questions spread evenly across 4 sections. They are English comprehension & language Ability, quantitative ability, logical ability, and data interpretation. For every correct answer and incorrect answer, a candidate will get +4 and -1 respectively. For the preparation of the exam, SRCC may also activate a mock test link to make students familiar with the exam pattern.
The Admit Card for SRCC GBO will release in the third week of February 2019. After the examination, the college may also release the answer key for the test. The result will announce in the month of March containing the list of students selected for the second round.
Candidates who will the clear the test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview round on a limited basis. For the selection of 68 students, the composite scores will be calculated in which there is weight-age of 75%, 10%, and 15% for SRCC GBO, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview respectively. Candidates shortlisted for the final admission will have to complete the college formalities accordingly. The course fee is Rs 80,000/- per semester.
