Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) hereby notifies details of admission to its Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations (GBO) for batch 2020-2022. The detailed notification with all aspects of the admission and entrance exam have been published at srccgbo.edu.in. Application form for the exam will be available in two days, from December 20, 2019 to January 20, 2020.
SRCC will conduct the entrance exam for GBO admissions on February 23, 2020, from 10 am to 12 noon. The exam for admission to the post graduate diploma programme in this college of Delhi University, will be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi, Shillong, Varanasi.
Candidates with any bachelor’s degree, with 50% can apply for GBO admissions. Those who belong to SC, ST, OBC, CW, PWD categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility. Those in their final years can also apply.
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online through the college website srccgbo.edu.in. Registration has to be done, in the given dates, through the tab “admission to PG diploma in GBO 2020-22 batch”, anytime between the first and the last dates of registration.
Application fee for SRCC GBO 2020 application form is Rs 2,500 for general, OBC, foreign national candidates, and Rs 1,500 for SC, ST, CW, EWS, PWD categories.
Admission will be on the basis of an objective type online test, followed by group discussion and personal interview. The online test will have four components, namely, english comprehension and language ability, quantitative ability, logical ability, and data interpretation. Each component will have 40 questions of 4 marks each. Negative marking will be to the tune of 1 mark per incorrect answer. The test will be 2 hours long.
In group discussion, only candidates who are declared as qualified in the written test shall be called. All shortlisted candidates will be divided into groups and they will be given a topic to discuss upon, on the basis of which they will be judged. In PI, candidates will be assessed on parameters like personality, communication skills, general subject knowledge in management and international business.
For the final merit list, SRCC will give 75% weightage to the online test, 10% to GD and 15% to PI.
For the full time programme, SRCC, DU, has 87 seats to offer. There are 31 seats for UR, 12 for SC, 6 for ST, 21 for OBC, 8 for EWS, 3 for PWD, 3 for CW, and 3 for foreign nationals.
Course fee for the Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations programme is Rs 80,000 per semester. An additional fee of USD 250 per semester will be applicable on the students who join under foreign national category.
