Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has started the registration process for Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operation (PGDGBO). The application form has been available on January 05, 2019, for the online entrance test for SRCC GBO 2019. It is a university level entrance examination to shortlist students for 71 seats of the academic year 2019-21. Interested candidates can apply for the programme at srccgbo.edu.in.
The application for PGDGBO is available in online mode only. Candidates have to access the “Admission to PG Diploma” tab to access the form. As there are only 21 days to apply for the programme, aspirants must submit the application form and fee before the last day. The examination fee is Rs. 2500/- and Rs. 1500/- for General & Foreign National Category and SC/ ST/ PWD respectively.
PGDGBO is a prestigious programme in international business offered by SRCC. The college conducts its own examination and does not accept scores of other national level examination like CAT Result etc. Being a part of Delhi University, the college fee is only Rs. 80,000/- (approx.) per semester. Also, the quality of education offered by SRCC is extraordinary and very well known for commerce and economics.
Before applying for the exam, candidates also need to check if they are eligible for the programme. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of education from any recognized university. Also, the final year candidates are also eligible to apply. In addition to education qualification, candidates must have 50% aggregate in a graduate degree. There is 5% relaxation for reserved categories.
The exam pattern for SRCC GBO 2019 is more or less similar to other management entrance exams. It consists of four sections naming Quantitative Ability, English Comprehension & Language Ability, Logical Ability, and Data Interpretation. All the questions are MCQ based and need to be completed within 120 minutes. Each question carries +4 marks and -1 for incorrect answers.
In order to prepare for the exam, candidates can refer to any good management aptitude book. Also, candidates can refer to the previous year question papers and sample papers for the preparation. The college also releases mock test for the GBO Test. Aspirants can use the free mock test to understand the type of questions that could appear in the exam.
The admit card for the exam release online for the February 24, 2019, exam. Candidates can download from the official website. After the examination, the college also releases the answer key. Following that, the result will announce and Group Discussion& Personal Interview round will take place. The weight-age od 75%, 10%, and 15% for the online test, GD, and PI respectively.
