The South Indian Bank has released a notice for the candidates who want to apply for the post of Probationary Officer today i.e. on December 04, 2018. For this post, the desired candidates will be able to apply from December 10, 2018, at 10:00 am. The application window will be closed on December 16, 2018. The aspirants are advised to fill the application form before the last date.
For South Indian PO Recruitment 2018, the candidates will be able to fill the application form by visiting the official website. The link will be present at southindianbank.com. Candidates will have to fill the required details such as the personal information, educational information etc. Then the candidates will have to pay the application fee. The application will be finished after uploading the scanned documents.
Candidates need to fill the form in online mode. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Without paying the application fee, the process will not be finished. The application fee for the General category candidates is Rs. 800/- while for the SC/ ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 200/-. This application fee is available excluding GST and other charges. Aspirants will be able to pay the application fee through any of the online modes such as Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net banking etc.
Before applying for the post, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria. On November 30, the candidate must have passed X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC & Graduation with minimum 60 % marks under regular course. Candidate should be born between December 01, 1993 and November 30, 1999. It means that the maximum age of the aspirant should be 25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ ST candidates.
Candidates meeting the stipulated norms only need to apply for the post. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded in any case.
South Indian Bank PO Online Test will be conducted on December 29, 2018. The test will be held in English language only. It will be a computer-based test. It will be divided into 4 parts. The sections are Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. In these sections, the number of questions will be 40 and the total marks will be given 50 marks. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation should be finished within while for General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, 20 minutes will be provided. So, there will be a total of 160 questions which will have to be completed in 140 minutes.
For the correct answers, the candidates will be provided the assigned marks. For the incorrect answers, the negative marking will be there. There will be a ¼ penalty for each wrong answer.
