Planning To Study MBA In Symbiosis? SNAP Test 2018 Mandatory; Know All About It

SNAP Test 2018

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the national level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis (Deemed) University. Colleges under symbiosis are dream institutes of thousands of aspirants. No doubt 100% placement, location, Alumni make them best. Symbiosis offers management programme in various specialization. Thus, to take admission, it is important to apply for SNAP 2018.

For the admission, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university. Though, minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate in degree examination is requisite. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply given that they will submit the required documents before the last date specified by the b-school.

The registration fee for SNAP 2018 is Rs 1750/- (Excluding Taxes). It is mandatory to pay the fee in order to appear for the examination. Even more, applicants have to pay Rs 1000/- for each college of Symbiosis. The portal to pay the fee in both cases is the same. It is advisable that aspirants select the college after checking the Symbiosis b-school fee structure, location, academics, and courses offered. Most importantly, choose the college wisely according to the preparation level.

The SNAP Registration was started on August 28, 2018, and will continue until November 26, 2018. Filling the personal details, selection of test city, and uploading of a candidates’ photograph are the three steps od SNAP Registration. Once it is done, applicants have to fill the SNAP Registration Fee via offline or online mode. Moving forward, it is required to pay the course wise fees of Symbiosis Colleges.

One of the things that make SNAP exam different is that exam conducting body announces the exam tests city to candidates prior to the release of admit card. Though such facility is available to those candidates only fill the registration form latest by October 21, 2018. Such candidates will know the test city via Email on October 29, 2018. This will help applicants to plan the travel itinerary in advance. Moreover, it will save the students from the last minute rush before the day of examination.

For all the candidates, admit card will release on December 02, 2018. It is downloadable on the official website after entering the valid login credentials. It will contain the candidates’ registration details, roll number, test venue, date, and timings. The exam will conduct on December 16, 2018, only candidates who will register successfully will able to take the exam.

The exam will take place in online mode consisting of subjective and objective questions both. In total, there will be 130 questions comprising 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 20 Special Questions. The latter type of questions has been added by Symbiosis this year only. So, it is the challenge for the students to prepare for the new variant of questions. Most probably, they will be like the Type in Text Answer (TITA) or Non-MCQ questions in CAT.

The paper majorly comprises General English, Quantitive Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Data sufficiency, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning. The syllabus for the exam is under the sky, you must prepare the general topics that are common for all the management entrance examinations.

For the verbal ability preparation, students must focus on Idioms and Idiomatic expressions, Vocabulary, and Grammar. In order to prepare for the logical section, solve as many questions as possible from Puzzles, Series, Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Non-Verbal Reasoning etc. For Quant and Di, a good preparation for the exam like CAT, IIFT etc will do enough. Most importantly, the Current Affairs section should be prepared from events of the last two years.

Once the exam is over, SNAP Result will announce in the month of January 2019. Candidates who will qualify the cut-off will able to see the list of selected students on the official website of each college. Thereafter, Group Exercise and Personal Interview will take place for the selection of final admission in the academic year 2019-21.

SIBM Pune and SCMHRD are considered to be the best college of Symbiosis. Rest of them are also good for the peculiar specializations offered by them. All over Symbiosis University ranks #247 in Asia by QS World University Rankings.
