Symbiosis International Deemed University has extended the last date to apply for SNAP 2019. While earlier the registration was to end on November 23, 2019, now it will close on November 26, 2019. This is another chance for MBA aspirants to apply for the entrance exam in online mode, from snaptest.org.
The Deemed University had opened the registration window for SNAP 2019 on August 16 and had provided a window of 4 months to register. The entire registration process includes 2 parts. The first part is where the candidates register for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) by paying an application fee of Rs. 1750. The second part is selecting and registering for course of study and institute by paying an institute registration fee of Rs. 1000 per course per institute.
To register for SNAP 2019, candidates have to visit the snaptest.org, look for the apply now button, register with basic details, upload scanned photo, verify the OTP sent to the mobile number and email id, pay the application fee, and then fill the part 2 of the registration form.
Candidates cannot proceed to part 2 of the application form without paying the SNAP registration fee. Once the SNAP fee is paid, part 2 of the application form allows the candidates to register for the courses and institute of their choice. One can select as many courses and institute out of the available options.
The application fee payment mode for both SNAP and institute registration is online as well as via a demand draft. The online available modes are billdesk payment gateway, easebuzz payment gateway, and Indian bank payment gateway.
To preapare the DD, candidates have to hoose the payment mode as DD, take print of the payment advice form and fill the same. The filled in advice form is to be sent with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at the prescribed address which is Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) , Gram : Lavale, Tal : Mulshi, Dist : Pune – 412115.
Last year the registration for SNAP was also extended by 2 days. However, the admit card issuance was not delayed and it was issued as per the scheduled date. Therefore, it can be expected that this time too, even after extending the last date to register, SNAP admit card will be released as per the fixed date that is December 02, 2019.
The admit card will be issued inside the login of the candidates and will not be sent personally via mail or posts. On the day of SNAP test that is on December 15, 2019, candidates have to carry the printed copy of the admit card. SNAP 2019 will be held in an online mode for a duration of 2 hours, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
In the online test, candidates have to face questions from general english, analytical & logical reasoning, and quantitative, data interpretation & data sufficiency. Each of these 3 sections will have 34, 36 and 40 questions respectively, making a total of 110 questions in the test. Each question form the general english and analytical & logical reasoning section will have 1.5 marks each. In the quantitative, data interpretation & data sufficiency section the marks per question will be 1. However, in all the sections, negative marking of 25% marks will be done against each wrong answer that the candidates mark.
The exam will have 5 special questions in the quantitative, data interpretation & data sufficiency section. Special questions in SNAP 2019 means questions who answers are to be entered by the candidate using the virtual keyboard.
