The Symbiosis International University (SIU) has released complete schedule and information brochure for SNAP 2019. The SNAP Online Test 2019 is going to be conducted on December 15, 2019, in 90 cities across India. The registration for SNAP 2019 is scheduled to start from 16 Aug 2019 at snaptest.org. The last date to register is November 23 and the issuance of starts from December 02, 2019.
Aspirants who hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for SNAP exam 2019. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes). Those who are appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. Those who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
In order to apply for admission in MBA / MSc programmes offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU], it is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2019.
One of the important thing to note is that the a candidate needs to register for SNAP Test and also register for the Institute(s) offering the choice of programme(s) by paying separate registration fee for each programme. If shortlisted, the candidate would then need to attend the further admission (GE-PIWAT) process conducted by each of these Institutes individually.
It is also observed that there has been a change in the exam pattern. The exam will be now of total marks of 110. Previously, Current Affairs was of 30 marks but now it is of 20 marks, and the other three sections which are General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Marks per question has also been changed. Earlier, each question was of 01 marks, however, now, two sections which are General English and Analytical & Logical Reasoning has been changed to 1.5 marks for each question. Furthermore, there will be a total of 05 special questions in Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.
Hence, there will be two type of questions in SNAP 2019. First will be MCQ type in which the candidates will get 04 options and had to choose one correct answer; the other is Special questions in which the candidates need to enter the answers usign a virtual keyboard. The Normal Questions carry one mark for each correct answer and Special Questions carry two marks for each correct answer.
