Sikkim Human Resource Development Department, the SHRDD has released the admit card for the State Teacher Eligibility Test 2019. The exam is on December 14, 2019. The call letters of the candidates have been released as pdf files on the official website at sikkimhrdd.org.
How to download Sikkim TET Admit Card 2019?
The first thing a candidate has to do is to visit the website, sikkimhrdd.org. On the main page itself, under the news and announcement section, one can find the STET admit card 2019. Click on the link and soon after an e-folder opens. In this folder, there are pdf files by the names of all the candidates registered for STET 2019. One has to just click on their name and their call letter will open in a pdf format. Print it and carry it on the day of examination.
It must be noted that the candidates do not need to enter any login credentials to download their admit card as the organizing body has not released the hall ticket under a login section, but has rather published them for everyone in an easily accessible pdf format.
As per the instructions laid under the notice, candidates on the day of the examination have to carry a hard copy of the admit card downloaded from the official source and along with it carry one identity card. The identity card can either be a driving license, PAN card, voter Id card, aadhar card, passport or a passport size photograph.
It is mandatory for the candidates to paste a passport size photograph on the downloaded admit card when appearing for STET 2019. The Sikkim TET is conducted to select the primary level teachers for classes I-V and elementary level teachers for classes VI-VIII.
According to the exam instructions laid by the committee, a student must reach the exam hall or center should reach 15 minutes before the specified time of commencement of the examination. They must carry a blue or black ballpoint pen to darken their answers and fill the OMR sheet. Candidates should fill the OMR sheet very carefully as no correction would be allowed afterwards.
After the completion of the paper, candidates have to submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator in a good condition without it being folded from anywhere. Without the submission of the sheet, candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall. Moreover, the department doesn’t allow the students to carry any electronic gadget like mobile phones, calculator or any other gizmos inside the exam hall.
As far as the exam is concerned the department will conduct both the exam on the same day in different shifts. One from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and other from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Paper 1 and paper 2 both will be of objective type question paper having 150 questions for a total of 150 marks. Exam takers will get 2.5 hours of duration to complete the paper. Paper 1 is conducted to select the primary level teachers and paper 2 is conducted for the elementary level teachers.
