State Bank of India (SBI), one of the biggest public sector banking statutory body in India, has announced a golden opportunity for aspirants of SBI Probationary Officers (PO). Interested candidates can easily access and submit the application form online on SBI’s official website, ibpsonline.ibps.in.
Candidates seeking a bright future in the banking sector should complete the SBI PO application process before April 22, 2019. This year, millions will be competing for 2000 prestigious vacancies to become a part of a legendary finance institution. To be a part of this competitive recruitment process, the General / OBC / EWS candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 750, which is Rs. 125 for SC / ST / PWD candidates. Age of aspiring candidates must range between 21 to 30 years.
Month of April is the best time for candidates to flip through all facts and appear for crash courses & mock tests. Candidates will go through three phases to become eligible for the position- Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. SBI PO Preliminary exams will be held on 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th June 2019. This examination evaluates a candidate on basic English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The exam is of 100 marks and the total number of questions in it are also 100.
On 20th July 2019, some of the fortunate candidates will appear for the SBI PO 2019 Main examination to prove their mettle. Candidates will prove their caliber on subjects like Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis, and more.
Last, but not least, the qualifying candidates of the Main exam will be called for group exercises and interviews. The final result of SBI PO 2019 will be out by the 2nd week of October 2019. After successful completion of all three rounds, the qualifying candidates will be selected at SBI PO and will remain in probation of 2 years. During the probation, the candidate will be continuously assessed.
The selected candidate will get basic pay of Rs. 27,620/-. This basic pay will also have 4 advance increments that are applicable to Grade Scale-I. The compensation will accompany by a goodie bag of D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites.
