National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2021 for admissions to classes 6 and 9 in 33 Sainik schools spread across various parts of the country. The registration process for the entrance exam started on October 20, 2020, and the last date for submitting the form is November 19, 2020. The entrance exam is going to be conducted from January 10, 2021, for the academic session 2020-21. Students can apply for the entrance exam online at the official website – aissee.nta.nic.in.
Candidates have to register on the website by entering their personal details like their name, father’s name, mother’s name, valid mobile number and email ID, etc. Once the registration part is done, aspirants will have to fill in necessary details in Sainik School admission form 2021. The third step involves uploading scanned copies of important documents like passport-sized photography, signature, left-thumb impression, Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate and Caste Certificate issued by the government (if applicable).
The last step of the application process is to pay the required amount of application fee. Students belonging to the general category or defence category have to pay Rs. 550 whereas SC/ST category candidates have to pay Rs. 400 for the entrance exam. The application fee is payable by online mode only by credit card / debit card / net banking.

Students who are facing difficulties in the online admission form can use the services of Common Services Centre. Through this service, candidates from urban as well as rural areas can easily fill the admission form and pay the application fee through e-wallet. The list of Common Services Centre (CSCs) can be checked from the website – csc.gov.in.
Students appearing for AISSEE 2021 for Class 6 admission must either be studying in Class 5 or have passed the standard. Students willing to seek admission in Class 9 in any of the Sainik schools must either e studying and should have passed standard 8 from any recognised or relevant education board. Sainik School Society has opened the registration portal for students to seek admissions in class 6 and 9.
