Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited has announced the result of Junior Engineer Entrance Exam. The result was announced today, on July 15, 2017. The candidates can only check it online and it will not be dispatched at the residential address. The candidates will be able to access the RVUNL JEN Result until August 04, 2017, only.

The official website of RVUNL, i.e. energy.rajasthan.gov.in, is facing trouble operating properly. However, the candidates may check the RVUNL JEN Result 2016-17 from here. To check the scores, the candidates will have to click on the link. Then, enter Name of Discipline, Roll Number, and Date of Birth. Finally, click on the ‘Login’ button and check the displayed result.

The candidates may also use the use the ‘reset’ button if they need to make amendments in the entered details. It is vital to ensure that all the submitted information is correct, else, the login will not open and the result will not be revealed. The RVUNL Result login looks as below.

Along with the result, the cutoff has also been announced. The cutoff is the limit of minimum marks which a candidate is to secure in order to qualify the examination. For the Junior Engineer Electrical, the JDVVN cutoff marks for UR, BC, SC, and ST male candidates is 50.88, 48.25, 40.13, and 37.88. Whereas, the same for the female candidates of UR, BC, SC, and ST category 44.13, 39.88, 28.5, and 21.13, respectively.

The cutoff for the male and female candidates of PH category is the same and is 21.63. Even for In Service Quota candidates is 21.13 and there is no discrimination for the male and female candidates falling under this category.

On the other hand, Electrical cutoff for AVVN is 52.5 and 46.75 for UR male and female candidate. For SC and ST, male candidates, it is 44.5 and 41.38, respectively. The minimum qualifying marks for the female candidates has been set as 35.88, belonging to both SC and ST category.

The cutoff score for the Control and Instrumentation, of RVUN is a little higher. It is 60.25, 57.5, 49.63, and 45.13 for the UR, BC, SC, and ST candidates, respectively. For the female candidates, only the UR cutoff is available. For the widow female candidate it is 38.75 and for the Divorced one, it is 33.75.

The score of multiple candidates might be the same. However, to break the tie, the date of birth will be used. The candidates, who will be elder will be placed higher in the merit list. Such is done because the elder candidates have fewer chances because the upper age limit is 37 years.

The candidates who have qualified the examination, have also received an SMS. The message congratulates the qualified candidates and directs them to have a look at the official website, where the call letter has been uploaded.

The RVUNL JEN written examination was held on December 29 and 30, 2017. It was held in 32 cities across the nation.
