Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, RUHS has activated the registration link yesterday and inviting the application for the post of Medical Officer. Eligible candidates can fill the online application form for 737 vacancies till December 24, 2019.
RUHS has laid down the eligibility criteria for the candidates who are applying for the post of a medical officer. To apply, one should have the MBBS degree, as minimum qualification, and Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) registration is mandatory. Moreover, RUHS prescribed that the candidates should have the knowledge of Hindi.
As far as age is concerned, RUHS has set the age limit of minimum 22 years and a maximum of 47 years. However, the relaxation in age has been provided to the reserved category candidates. Age relaxation of 05 years is given to the male candidates of backward classes and OBC. Females of these categories gets the age relaxation of 10 years. Similarly, for the ex-servicemen the maximum age limit is 50 years.
Adhering to the eligibility criteria one can apply online on the official website of the university which is ruhsraj.org. On the main page of the web portal, candidates have to click on the application form link for the medical officer recruitment. This link is available under the latest section. After clicking on the link, a new window will open with the “apply online” link. Access the form and do the registration using the email id.
Once done with the registration, login into the account using email id and password sent on the registered mail id.
According to the recruitment notification released one has to upload the photo id, date of birth certificate, internship completion certificate, UG and PG degree and Rajasthan medical council registration proof. Along with these, one has to upload the caste, disability, EWS, ex-servicemen certificate issued from the competent authority, if applicable.
Rajasthan University of Health Sciences charges an application fee of Rs. 2500 from the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates of the Rajasthan state and Rs. 5000 from the other category candidates. The fee has to be paid via any e-Mitra or CSC kiosk authorized by the government of Rajasthan.
As per the recruitment guidelines laid down by the RUHS, applicants have to take out the print out of the application form once the payment is done. Candidates have to carry the print out of the application form along with the relevant certificates at the time of selection.
For the selection of eligible candidates, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences conducts a written examination. RUHS has announced the date of the exam which is January 19, 2020. It will be an objective type online exam, having 100 questions. Candidates have the total time of 120 minutes to answer the questions. It is confirmed that the paper will be set in English language only and will be conducted in Jaipur.
Appointed Medical Officer of the Rajasthan Univerity of Health Sciences will get the salary as per the pay scale of Rs. 15600 to Rs. 39100. This pay scale comes under level 14 pay matrix, they will continue receiving this amount, until their probation of 1 year gets over. After successful completion of probation, candidates will receive additional amount of Rs 39,300 as medical allowances, making Rs 56,700, the total amount of salary paid on monthly basis.
