The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has announced vacancies for 3896 posts of Village Development Officer. The online applications for RSMSSB VDO 2021 shall begin from September 10, 2021. Interested candidates may visit the official website of RSMSSB, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in to apply. The last date for applying is October 9, 2021.
With the release of notification, aspirants have been searching for RSMSSB VDO 2021 syllabus. The syllabus is yet to be disclosed officially on the RSMSSB website, the demand for the syllabus and content is growing as aspirants want to begin preparations. Candidates should keep track of the official website, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in to get the RSMSSB VDO Syllabus 2021 PDF. The syllabus for VDO is speculated to be updated on the RSMSSB website in the upcoming days.
However, exam experts and some unofficial resources have shared the RSMSSB VDO syllabus based on the previous year trends. The general theme covered in the exam would be Rajasthan’s History, Geography, Culture, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Analytical Ability, Reasoning and Mental Ability and basic knowledge of computers. Questions from Hindi Grammar, English and Mathematics from std 10th level will also be asked. The exam will be a multiple-choice (MCQ) based and will carry negative marking for every wrong answer. A total of 100 questions are to be asked for the paper.
To appear for RSMSSB VDO Exam 2021, candidates first need to submit online applications. For the online registrations, candidates need an SSO (Single Sign-On) ID and password that they can get by registering at the SSO Rajasthan portal. Using this ID candidates may apply at the Recruitment tab of the RSMSSB website. The application fee for those belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes is Rs 250/-. For OBCs belonging to the non-creamy layer, it is Rs 350/- and for general and EWS categories it is Rs 450/-.
Those having a graduate degree are eligible to apply. Other degrees equivalent to graduation are also accepted. Candidates also need to possess a diploma or certificate in computer. For details, candidates can go through the press note for the vacancy. The minimum age of applying is 18 years and those above 40 years of age are not eligible.
The dates of examination and declaration of results are yet to be announced by the board. The written examination will be followed by a document verification following which a merit list will be produced of the selected candidates.
