Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have published notification for modified answer key of RRB JE CBT 2 2019. As per it, candidates can login to check RRB JE CBT 2 revised answer key from today, 3 pm. The last date to check question paper, revised answers, and decision on objections raised is October 12, 2019.
Where to check RRB JE CBT 2 revised answer key?
At the time of publishing this news, notification about this latest update was published at few official websites of RRBs like RRB Siliguri (at rrbsiliguri.gov.in). The link to check revised answer keys is also available (leading to rrbonlinereg.in), but as mentioned in the notification, login to check revised answers is not available right now; it will be available from the given time.
From 3 pm onwards, candidates can go to any of the official RRB websites of Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, Trivandrum. How to check the modified key of RRB JE CBT 2 2019?
To check the revised or modified answer keys, candidates need to visit any of the websites of RRBs and click on the link that says “CEN NO. 03/2018 (JE, DMS & CMA Posts) Click here to view Modified key and decisions taken on the objections raised on the Questions/Keys of 2nd Stage Computer Based Test”.
Doing so opens the login page where they have to login with roll number and date of birth. After logging in, candidates will be able to see link for question paper and responses. Which opens all the questions asked in that exam day and shift when candidate took the test.
Have answers been changed in the new answer key?
Railways have changed a few answers. Questions with multiple answers or no key or ambiguous were ignored as per the extant procedure followed by RRBs, says the notification.
The answers that display today are final. No further changes will be made to the questions or answers any more. On the basis of the final answers, and answers marked by candidate in the exam, Railways will award and deduct marks to calculate the score. For every correct answer, candidate will get 1 mark and ⅓ mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.
Qualifying marks in RRB JE CBT 2 are 40% for UR, 30% for OBC, 25% for ST. For PWBD candidates, qualifying marks are relaxed by 2%. However cut off will be implemented on normalized scores, as per the normalization formula given in point 14.2 of the RRB CEN 03/2018.
RRB JE CBT 2 result 2019 is now expected to be declared this month only. In CBT 1, RRBs announced the result of JE recruitment exactly 20 days after displaying the modified answer key. Therefore for CBT 2, it is expected that the result will be announced by October 30.
On the basis of RRB JE CBT 2 results, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification. Document verification schedule will be posted after results.
Railway Recruitment Boards, Ministry of Railways, Govt of India, conducted the CEN 03/2018 (JE DMS CMA) recruitment second stage computer based test from August 28, 2019, to September 19, 2019. The answer keys were issued on September 26, 2019, and were available for viewing until September 29, 2019. A total of 24,92,554 candidates had applied for the recruitment against 13,487 vacancies. 2,02,616 candidates had been shortlisted for CBT 2.
