Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced RRB JE Exam Date 2019. The CBT 1 for the examination will be held from May 22, 2019, onwards. The actual exam date, city, and session for each candidate will be announced soon through the login, which will be available on all the official website of the 21 RRBs.
Other than the exam date of RRB JE 2019, the travel pass for the SC / ST candidates will also be released through the login. The mock test link for RRB Junior Engineer CBT 1 will be active on May 12, 2019, and the admit card for the registered candidates will release 4 days before the examination.
To check RRB JE 2019 exam date and city, the candidates need to visit the official website of the selected RRB. There, look for the link of “RRB JE 2019 (CEN 03/2018) Exam Date and City“. Click on it. The link will lead to a login portal and to access it, the candidates will have to enter user id and password. The session of the exam, in which candidates need to appear for the examination will also be mentioned in it.
The admit card of RRB JE 2019 will release 4 days before the exam date. The candidates have to carry admit card as a print copy on the exam day. Along with it, the candidates also need to carry one passport size photograph and original photo id card. The photo should be the same as that uploaded in the application form and the valid id card can be voter id card, passport aadhaar card, etc.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST category, who also uploaded the category certificate in the application form, should download the travel pass. By showing it, the candidate can travel for free to the exam center.
RRB JE 2019 CBT 1 will be a 90 minute examination, in which candidates will have to solve 100 questions. All the question will be of multiple choice type and will be asked from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. For marking incorrect answers, negative marking of 1/3 marks will be applied.
RRB JE Recruitment 2019 is open for 13487 vacancies. Out of which 12844 are for the post of Junior Engineer (JE), 29 for Junior Engineer (Information Technology), 227 for Depot Material Superintendent, and 387 for Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
The shortlisting of the candidates is done on the basis of three stages, CBT 1, CBT 2 followed by the document verification. The final appointment of the candidates only takes place after passing the medical exam. Candidates clearing all the stages are recruited on level 6 of 7th CPC pay matrix with a basic salary of Rs. 35400 along with the allowances.
