A notification has gone viral on social media on RRB Group D exam date 2019. As per it, computer based test for RRC CEN 01/2019 will be held from October 15, 2019, mock test link will be activated from October 8, 2019.
It further says that intimation of exam city, date, shift will start on October 5, 2019, and on the same day, SC and ST candidates will be able to download train travel authority. Regarding admit card, the notification shared by several candidates says that RRBs will issue e-call letter four days prior to exam.
The notification in question is of single page and contains the schedule followed by some instructions. Below the schedule, it is mentioned that candidates will be able to login with their credentials to download admit card, and check city intimation. Then the pattern of CBT is described – that RRB Group D 2019 exam will be of 90 minutes, have 100 multiple choice questions, and will have negative marking as 1/3rd mark assigned to a questions.

Now here are three reasons why this notification appears to be fake rather than real.
First reason that shows that the RRB Group D exam date 2019 notification is fake, is the use of different fonts.

Railway Recruitment Boards have published several notifications in the past months for different recruitments. In all of them, the boards use a consistent format with the same font. In this notification, at the very top, you can see the words “CEN RRC 01/2019”, followed by “(Level 1 Posts as per 7th CPC)”. Now you can see that these two phrases look different, thus different fonts have been used. This is not what usually happens in RRB notifications.
Then the second reason is the missing term “No.” in the exam name.

Once again we need to look at the opening of the notice. RRBs always publish the centralized employment notification number in the beginning like this “CEN No. RRC – 01/2019 (Level – 1 Posts)”. There are minor differences, but usually the text is similar. But in this notification, it only says “CEN RRC-01/2019 (Level 1 Posts as per 7th CPC)”. So the term “No.” is missing.
Third and the biggest reason is simply that the notification is not available on any of the official Railway Recruitment Board websites.
The comprehensive list of all official RRB websites are: rrbahmedabad.gov.in, rrbajmer.gov.in, rrbald.gov.in, rrbbnc.gov.in, rrbbpl.nic.in, rrbbbs.gov.in, rrbbilaspur.gov.in, rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbchennai.gov.in, rrbgkp.gov.in, rrbguwahati.gov.in, rrbjammu.nic.in, rrbkolkata.gov.in, rrbmalda.gov.in, rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbmuzaffarpur.gov.in, rrbpatna.gov.in, rrbranchi.gov.in, rrbsecunderabad.nic.in, rrbsiliguri.gov.in, rrbthiruvananthapuram.gov.in. None of them have any notification pertaining to exam date for the Railway RRB group D 2019. Whenever the exam dates are fixed, RRBs will for sure update the notification on the official websites.
Just a few days another notification had been shared on social media with completely different dates. As per that fake notice, RRBs were supposed to start exam from October 16, 2019, activation of mock link for CBT was October 9, 2019. Exam city intimation was from October 8, 2019, train travel authority download was from October 9, 2019. Admit cards were supposed to release four days prior to exam. Again for similar reasons, the notification appears fake.
With new fake notifications coming in every day, candidates are forced to spend more time deciding what is real and what is fake, rather than preparing for the exam. In this situation they can follow one simple rule – RRB Group D exam date 2019 notification is true only if it is on at least one official RRB website.
After observing so many RRB recruitments it is clear that whenever the exam happens, RRB Group D admit card 2019 will be released four days prior to exam. And also that exam city intimation will take place a few days before it.
The last event that happened with regards to Railway RRB RRC Group D 2019 recruitment was the finalization of application status. On September 6, 2019, RRBs sent the final sms to candidates about whether their form is accepted or rejected. Now only those candidates will get admit cards, whose forms have been accepted.
RRB Group D 2019 computer based test will have 25, 25, 30, 20 questions respectively on general science, mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness and current affairs. The recruitment is for 1,03,769 vacancies. Lakhs of candidates have applied for the exam. Railways are expected to soon announce exam dates officially.
