Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Chandigarh hereby announces a list of candidates who have been put in the provisional panel for the post of paramedical categories. This list comes upon the conclusion of document verification.
A total of 171 candidates are thus recommended to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Northern Railway, Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi for the purpose of appointment to Railways. The list is uploaded at rrbcdg.gov.in. To download it, one has to go to the site, and click on the link with text “CEN-02/2019 – Provisional Panel for the post of Paramedical Categories”.
RRB CDG has clarified that the candidature of candidates who are in this panel is provisional. It is subject to data check, matching of data in their online form, consideration of malpractices. Thus, simply being in the provisional panel does not equal appointment.
Moreover with regards to error in the list, Railways has said that they have taken due care to ensure that everything is correct in the results. Nevertheless, in the case of any error be it typographical or printing or otherwise, the result may be changed.
Refuting the menace of touts and job racketeers, the RRB result warns candidates to only refer results published on the official website. “Beware of the touts who may misguide the candidates with false promises of getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration. The recruitment process in the RRB exams is fully computerised and the selection is based purely on the merit of candidates.”

Then category 6 health and malaria inspector has 11 in provisional panel, 3 withheld main list, 7 standby, 2 withheld standby. Category 8 optometrist has 1 selected, 1 in withheld cases main list. Then category 10 physiotherapist post has 2 in provisional panel, 1 withheld cases main list, 1 in withheld cases standby.
Category 11 pharmacist has 6 in provisional panel, 1 in withheld cases main list, 3 in standby, 2 in withheld cases standby. Category 12 radiographer post has 11 in provisional panel, 1 withheld cases main list, 4 in standby, 1 in withheld cases standby. Then category 14 ecg technician post has 3 in provisional panel, 2 standby. Category 16 lab assistant post has 6 in provisional panel, 1 withheld cases main list, and 3 in standby.
RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2019 was advertised vide Centralized Employment Notification 02/2019. The exam was held from July 19 to 21. Result with list of shortlisted candidates was announced on September 9. Thereafter the document verification was held from September 17 to September 19.
In RRB Chandigarh, the total announced vacancies were 197. Post wise vacancies were: dietician – 2, staff nurse – 142, extension educator – 1, health and malaria inspector – 15, optometrist – 2, physiotherapist – 3, pharmacist – 8, radiographer – 13, ecg technician – 3, lab assistant – 8.
