Rajasthan Police notification 2019 in the form of standing order by the Office of the Director General of Police, Rajasthan has been published at police.rajasthan.gov.in. Recruitment shall begin for the post of constable in Rajasthan Police, as per the orders. Before inviting applications, the police department will calculate total vacancies.
Class 8th pass candidates will be eligible for constable recruitment to RAC, MBC Bns. Class 10th pass candidates will be eligible for district police, intelligence. Whereas class 12th pass with science and maths will be required for recruitment to police telecommunications operator.
As on the 1st of January next following the last date fixed for the receipt of applications, applicant should be between 18 to 23 years old. However constable drivers can be as old as 26 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of men who belong to SC, ST, BC, Saharia category, and general category women. SC, ST, BC, Saharia category women get 10 years relaxation.
From the first date of registration against Rajasthan Police recruitment notification 2019, application form submission shall be available at police.rajasthan.gov.in. The application fee is Rs 400 for general, OBC, out of state candidates. Rs 350 is the fee for SC, ST candidates of the state including TSP and saharia. And Rs 350 shall also be the fee for general, BC category with annual income less than 2.5 lakh.
Rajasthan Police will conduct a written test with 150 questions, of 75 marks. The test will consist of three sections. First will have questions on reasoning, logic and basic knowledge of computers with 60 questions of 30 marks. Next one will have 45 questions of 22.5 marks on general knowledge, general science, current affairs. Last section will have 45 questions of 22.5 marks on history, geography, economy, polity, culture and arts of Rajasthan. Minimum qualifying marks in the exam will be 40% for general, BC, and 36% for SC, ST.
After written test there will be physical efficiency test, then physical standards test. Thereafter there will be proficiency test for certain constable posts, and for others marks will be allotted on the basis of special qualifications.
It may be noted that the orders issued today outline the complete selection process for Rajasthan police recruitment 2019-2020. It gives all the information required for eligibility criteria, fees and everything related to the upcoming recruitment, officially. However dates and application form are yet to be available. They are, however, expected very soon.
As per reports, there will be 8,600 constable vacancies. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot had tweeted in June that Rajasthan Police Recruitment 2019-2020 will be for 8,600 constables and 706 sub inspector. However it will be in a number of phases, and in the first phase, 5,000 vacancies will be filled.
