Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board, RSMSSB has recently released an amended notification of 2018 for the post of a Pharmacist. The board has released the notification in accordance with the changes recommended in the vacancies distribution in view of reservation.
While there are no changes in the total number of vacancies between what was announced earlier and now, there are changes in the distribution of vacancies in TSP area and non-TSP areas among the reserved category candidates.
Prior to this, the RSMSS board did not have any reservation for the Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Class (OBC). According to the new amendment, now there is 4% reservation is for PwD, 10% for EWS and 5% for OBC.
As per the new vacancies distribution, there are a total of 1538 seats for the non-TSP area out of which for UR there are 540 seats, 236 for SC, 224 for ST, 309 for OBC, 74 for BC and 148 for EWS. Similarly for the TSP area, a total of 198 vacancies have been allotted, out of which there are 78 for UR, 9 for SC and 111 for ST.
As per the dates announced in the official notice, online application procedure will start on December 11, 2019. The last date for receipt of the application by the board is January 10, 2020. It must be noted there is no provision for extending the date of paying application fee as of now. The last date of the fee also remains the same as the last date of the form. Though, RSMSSB will provide an opportunity to edit the submitted application form. Board will open the correction window from January 11, 2020, to January 17, 2020.
However, a correction fee of Rs. 300 will be charged by the board for editing the application form. The fee can be paid via E-mitra kiosk, common service centers (CSC), net banking, credit card and debit card.
As per the notice released, the board has specified that those candidates who have already filled the application form in accordance with the advertisement released on August 13, 2018, the correction window will get open from January 18, 2020, to January 24, 2020, with correction fee not being applicable.
According to the board guidelines, the recruitment terms, application procedure, fee, admit card, salary, educational qualifications, eligibility criteria, age relaxation, and other guidelines will remain same in accordance with the advertisement 14/2018 released on August 13, 2018.
