Rajasthan Police published constable recruitment 2019-2020 notification today, for a total of 5000 vacancies. The police department will conduct written exam in offline mode in February-March 2020. Applications shall be invited online from eligible candidates; there are posts for 8th pass candidates as well as for 12th pass candidates.
Raj police notification 2019 is now available online as a PDF file at police.rajasthan.gov.in, and it says that the start date for online application form submission will be 15 days after the notification is published in newspapers. And the last date will be one month from the date of release of the notification.
In this recruitment, there are there are 3050 vacancies for constable post, 1597 vacancies for constable post of TSP area, 341 for constable driver, and 12 for constable driver TSP area.
The minimum educational qualification requirement for applying against the post of constable in district police is to be a class 10th pass. For joining RAC or MBC battalion, class 8th pass candidates can apply.
Selection process will comprise of written test of 75 marks, physical efficiency test of 15 marks, and special skills of 10 marks for general constable. Whereas for constable driver, the selection will consist of a written test of 75 marks, physical efficiency test of 10 marks, proficiency test of 15 marks.
Written exam will have four sections. First will be reasoning and logical ability, general knowledge of computers, with 60 questions of 30 marks. Then general knowledge, general science, social science, and current affairs section will have 35 questions of 17.5 marks. Crimes against women and children and related legal provisions will be the third section with 10 questions of 5 marks. Last section will be Rajasthan history, culture, arts, geography, politics and economics related 45 questions of 22.5 marks. Thus the paper will have 150 questions of 75 marks.
Physical efficiency test will only consist of running or race.
When the application form is made available, candidates will be able to apply through SSO ID at sso.rajasthan.gov.in. First they will have to make an SSO ID, which can be done by going to e-mitra kiosks in the state as well.
Those with an SSO ID can then apply through recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in.
The application fee for Rajasthan police constable recruitment 2019-2020 is Rs 400 for general, EWS, OBC, MBC candidates. It is Rs 350 for SC, ST, Sahariya candidates who are domicile of Rajasthan. Rs 350 is the fee for those general, EWS, OBC, MBC categories also whose family income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
