A news clipping about Raj Police 2019 has gone viral today. As per it, Rajasthan Police recruitment 2019 for over 5000 vacancies is to take place, for which, application form will release on October 23 and last date to apply will be November 21. This is fake.
This news clipping is actually of a news published in the year 2017! It is not for any upcoming vacancy. It is important to note that no such news has been published today or recently; this news was published when Raj Police announced recruitment two years ago!

In the year 2017, on October 18, Rajasthan Police had announced exactly the same number of vacancies and invited application forms. On that day a leading daily in the state published this news. Today, the same news clipping has gone viral and people are believing that it is for Raj Police 2019 recruitment.
Either some people have intentionally tried to mislead candidates by sharing the news clipping as Rajasthan police recruitment 2019. Or they actually did not understand that it was an old clipping because newspapers usually do not use dates in the printed news. Either way, candidates may now note that this news clipping which they saw today is an old one, and not for 2019 recruitment.
The people who have shared the news saying it is an upcoming Rajasthan Police vacancy 2019 have not hidden the news source. It is written just below the title that this news clipping is from Rajasthan Patrika, which is a reputed daily in the state of Rajasthan. Candidates can themselves go through the newspaper of the Raj Police 2017 notification date to verify that the same news they have read today was published two years ago.
In that year, Rajasthan Police had invited applications for 5394 vacancies of police constable. The minimum educational qualification required was class 10 pass for district police and intelligence department, class 8 pass for RAC battalion and maharana pratap battalion, and class 12 pass with science for maharana pratap battalion police telephone operator department.
Also for that recruitment, application form filling first date was October 23, and last date was November 21. But both dates belonged to the year 2017. These dates are another reason why candidates got confused about the viral news.
One change introduced that year was that candidates had to run 5 kilometers instead of 10 kilometers. The selection process then consisted of written exam, physical tests.
Rajasthan Police Recruitment 2019 will also start. In June, it was notified that the state has 8,600 vacancies of constable, and 706 sub inspector vacancies. However official notification about the recruitment process has not yet been released.
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will conduct the recruitment for 2019-2020, whenever the concerned departments finalize vacancies, selection process, and decide to publish notification. Candidates will then have to apply for the posts at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, which is the official website of the commission.
