The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB JE Admit Card 2019 for the CBT 1 today which is, May 18, 2019. The admit card is released in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRB 21 in the count. The call letters are available over login for which candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth. No, admit cards are sent to the candidates via post or courier.
The RRB JE Admit Card has been issued to only those candidates whose application form is accepted by the RRB. To download the admit card, click on the link “Call letters for RRB JE, DMS, and CMA”. Next, choose the zone for which the candidate has filled the application form. Lastly, enter the login details like registration number and date of birth. Then, click on the “Login” button. Download and take a print out of the admit card to carry it on the exam day.
Admit Card is an important document as it acts as a key to enter the exam hall. So, candidates should keep it in good condition till the time recruitment process gets over completely. On the day of the exam, candidates should make sure that they carry the hardcopy of the admit card, valid photo id proof and passport size photograph. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the relevant documents as laid by the RRB as then only he / she can appear for the examination.
RRB also issues the SC / ST Travel Pass to the reserved category candidates to travel free of cost at the time of the examination through sleeper class train. The travel pass is only available if the candidate has submitted the caste certificate while filling the application form. The facility is only for the candidates belonging to reserved category.
During the time of the journey, candidates are required to show the category certificate along with the admit card. If a candidate fails to carry the necessary documents at the time of the journey then he or she is treated in the unreserved category and will be charged accordingly.
In the RRB JE CBT 1 Exam, there will be 100 questions. The questions in the exam are pertaining to Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Candidates are going to get 90 minutes for the CBT exam. PwD category candidates will get 120 minutes for the Computer-based Test.
The examination will be conducted in 15 languages, English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odiya, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, and Malayalam. Candidates obtaining the cut off marks in the CBT 1 are shortlisted for the CBT stage 2 exam. The number of candidates shortlisted for CBT 2 is 15 times the number of vacancies.
RRB JE 2019 recruitment is open for 13487 vacancies. Out of which 12844 is for Junior Engineer (JE), 29 for JE (Information Technology), 227 for Depot Material Superintendent, and 387 for Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The final appointment of the candidates is done after passing the medical exam at the Railway Hospitals.
