Indian Railways has published a notification regarding RRC Group D recruitment 2019 in which the Railway Recruitment Board says that it is examining the complaints received by the board regarding rejected application forms. Application forms that were rejected due to photograph, signature, and such factors are being checked again. The board further informs that it will publish final outcome by August 31, 2019. Email and SMS will be sent to individual applicants by the said date to convey them the final status.
It was recently reported that application forms of more than 4 lakh candidates were rejected by the RRBs for reasons such as invalid photograph or signature issues. However, several candidates whose RRC application forms were rejected, claimed that their photograph and signature were correct. As a result, a number of job seekers who had applied for the massive recruitment drive ongoing in Indian Railways, were aggrieved with the situation and wanted the board to look into the matter.
With RRBs now assuring that RRC rejected application status will be looked into again, and that final outcome will be notified by month-end, candidates should check their status at regular intervals. All candidates who had applied for RRC Group D (Level 1) posts advertised vide CEN No. RRC 01/2019 must check their registered email address and mobile number regularly to see if they have received any communication regarding form status. Furthermore they should check official websites of Railway Recruitment Boards.

Reasons for application form rejection were mentioned in the centralised employment notification. As per it, there are eight usual reasons. Invalid photos lead to rejection of form. This may happen if photo is black and white, it is photo in which candidate is wearing a cap or goggles or has covered head. Such photos are also invalid that are disfigured, small in size, has full body, shows only one side view of face, is unrecognizable, is a photostat copy of a photo, group photo, selfie, taken from mobile, morphed, or no photo is present.
Signatures are rejected if they are in capital letters or block letters or disjointed letters.
Other reasons of rejection of RRC Group D 2019 forms are if candidate does not have the necessary qualifications, is over or under age, candidate has submitted multiple forms, name of candidate is in the debarred list. Incorrectly or incomplete applications are also rejected. RRBs, RRCs may observe other inconsistencies in form which may also lead to rejection.
Railway Recruitment Board, on behalf of Railway Recruitment Cell, published the Group D recruitment 2019 notification on February 23 this year. Applications were invited online from March 12 to April 12. Thereafter application status was released on July 24, and candidates could check the same until July 31. Computer based test for group d recruitment is supposed to be held in September-October 2019. Final exam dates, RRC group d admit card, and other instructions will release in some time.
RRC Group D recruitment 2019 is for 1,03,769 vacancies. The number of vacancies for each railways are such that Central Railway has 9345 vacancies, East Central Railway has 3563 vacancies, East Coast Railway has 2555 vacancies. Eastern Railway has 10873 vacancies, North Central Railway has 4730 vacancies, North Eastern Railway has 4002 vacancies. North Western Railway has 5249 vacancies, Northeast Frontier Railway has 2894 vacancies, Northern Railway has 13153 vacancies, South Central Railway has 9328 vacancies. South East Central Railway has 1664 vacancies, South Eastern Railway has 4914 vacancies, South Western Railway has 7167 vacancies, Southern Railway has 9579 vacancies. West Central Railway has 4019 vacancies, and Western Railway has 10734 vacancies.
