Each of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have published the same notification on their official websites today. It reads, “Important Notice: For any notice/information regarding Railway Recruitment Board(RRB), the candidates should visit official web site of RRBs site only. Any information/notice being circulated in the Social Media regarding RRBs may please be ignored.”
Through this notice, RRBs urge government job aspirants to only rely on official websites for all updates of railway recruitment. Be it about exam date, admit card, answer key, result, or even new vacancies. Any notification which is on social media but not on official website may be considered fake.
RRBs, Ministry of Railways, Government of India most probably had to take this step to respond to the fake notifications that go viral every day.

Since last year, the following railway recruitment, the name of recruitment and corresponding centralized employment notification numbers, have been announced: RRB Group D (RRC CEN 01/2019), RRB Ministerial (CEN 03/2019), RRB Paramedical (CEN 02/2019), RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019), RRB JE (CEN 03/2018), RRB Group D (CEN 02/2018), RRB ALP (CEN 01/2018). The first one was assistant loco pilot recruitment, and the latest one is level 1 posts in 7th CPC that is group D.
At this moment, none of the recruitments are completely over. Even for the oldest of these recruitments, that is for ALP, notifications such as for selection panels announcement are being announced from time to time.
However the three recruitments for which most fake notifications come to light are RRB NTPC, RRB JE, and RRB Group D. Sometimes only small rumors are spread. At other times some videos are made about any of the topics associated with these recruitments. But most harmful of all are the photoshopped notifications about exam date, admit card, result.
Miscreants create pdf documents that look just like official notifications of the railway recruitment board. Like recently two fake notifications about RRB Group D exam date 2019 went viral. Small clues like font differences, language help candidates understand that they are not real. Nevertheless a lot of time gets wasted in tackling them. On one hand, candidates have to study for the upcoming exams, and on the other hand they get disturbed by such events. To tackle this issue, this notification by RRBs is important for all government job aspirants in India.
How to identify whether railway recruitment 2019 notification is real or fake?
When you come across any notification about RRB recruitment, the first thing to do would be to check all of the official websites. Check them once and see if the same is available on any of the websites. If yes, then the notification is real for sure. However if it is not available at that time, press refresh button, and clear cookies and cache. Then check another time. This is because sometimes we are unable to see latest update on a website due to page cache. If the notification is still not visible on any of the websites, then there are high chances that the notification you saw was fake.
