PSTET Admit Card 2019 released with roll number, exam center

PSTET Admit Card

Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) finally released the admit card of the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2018 on December 16, 2019, for the exam scheduled to be held on December 22, 2019.

The direct link to download the Punjab TET admit card is pstet.net/Login.aspx. Candidates can either directly type this in their url bar in browser, or first go to pstet.net, and then click the link “view / print admit card”. On the admit card download page, candidates need to login with registration number and password, and also enter the secure code that displays on the screen.

After logging in, candidates are met with their profile screen. On the left hand side, a link that says “download admit card” appears here.

If one encounters “504 gateway time out” error, then they need to try again in some time.

The admit card contains details including application form number, roll number, name of candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, category, centre code name, exam centre address, paper code, paper name, date of exam, reporting time, exam time, photo of candidate. There are two parts in the document, one is the student copy, and the other is the office copy.

A list of instructions have also been provided in the admit card. As per said list, candidates need to carry a printout of the admit card and a photo id proof only to the exam centre. It says “pen, cell phones, watches, pagers, calculators or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited. violation may lead to expulsion from the examination including cancellation of candidature.”

Other instructions read as follows.

“Do not attempt to give or obtain assistance of any kind in the examination hall. Any attempt to remove pages from question booklet is strictly prohibited and shall lead to cancellation of candidature. Copying or noting down question is strictly prohibited. Improper conduct will entail expulsion from the examination. Pstet-18 reserves all rights to verify identity and genuineness of each candidate by taking left thumb impression and photograph of the candidate or by any other means.”

The list goes to say “Preserve this admit card for record. Failure to comply with these instructions will entail expulsion/cancellation of candidature or appropriate legal action. No entry is allowed in examination hall after half an hour on start of exam. Candidate cannot leave examination hall without permission of invigilator. Do not leave the hall without handing over omr answer sheet to the invigilator. Candidate must sign the attendance sheet. Missing signature on attendance sheet shall be considered absence of the candidate.

And also that “In case of any ambiguity in any question, the query can be submitted to expert commitee through online grievance on website http://www.pstet.net. The decision of the expert committee shall be final. No query shall be entertained thereafter. The candidate is advised to visit website http://www.Pstet.Net/www.Pseb.Ac.In, regularly. No separate communication shall be made to any candidate. Candidate requiring scriber (writer) shall submit separate admit card form for scriber to the centre superintendent. Paste recent passport size colored photograph attested by gazetted officer on office copy.”
