Punjab Secondary Education Board (PSEB) has today, June 03, 2022, announced the 8th class exam result 2022. Results have been announced through the online mode, on the official website pseb.ac.in. Alternately, students can check their result on indiaresults.com. Offline-based subjective exams were held for Class 8 students from April 07 to 22, 2022, at schools affiliated with the board.
This year, a total of 3,07,942 candidates had appeared for the PSEB 8th Class exams 2022. Out of which, 3,02,558 students have qualified the exams, amounting to a pass percentage of 98.25%.
How to check PSEB 8th Class Result 2022?
The PSEB 8th Class Result 2022 has been announced in two formats – roll number-wise and name-wise. A student has the choice of searching for his/her results either using name or exam roll number.
As mentioned before, the PSEB 8th Class Result 2022 has been announced on two websites – pseb.ac.in and indiaresults.com. Following are the steps to follow in either website –
Checking result on pseb.ac.in
Step 1: Visit the official website of PSEB and click on the ‘Results’ section.
Step 2: By doing so, a new page will open containing various result links. Click on the “NOW AVAILABLE” link located next to the words “MIDDLE EXAMINATION RESULT MARCH 2022”.
Step 3: A new page will open containing the login window. Either enter the roll number or name in the space provided.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Find Result’ option to access the PSEB 8th Class Result 2022.
Step 5: Download or print a copy of the result for future reference.

Step 1: In case pseb.ac.in does not function properly, visit the alternate result website.
Step 2: Select ‘Punjab’ from the list of states and UTs displayed on the screen.

PSEB 8th Class Result 2022 Statistics
As per official information, Manpreet Singh, the son of Jagmohan Singh, bagged the first place in PSEB 8th Class exam 2022. having studied in Government Middle School, Gumti Village, Barnala, he scored a record-breaking 600 out of 600 marks.
The state education board has announced the overall district-wise performance in PSEB 8th Class exams 2022. Accordingly, the Pathankot district has topped the state with a pass percentage of 99.36% followed by Kapurthala (99.16%) and Hoshiarpur (99.02%). On the other hand, Sangrur district performed the worst, securing a pass percentage of 96.76%.
While the overall state pass percentage was impressive, this year, girls managed to outperform boys. The former had an average passing figure of 98.70% and the latter followed behind with 97.86%. The transgender figure was found to be 100% as all of the nine candidates successfully passed the PSEB 8th Class exam 2022.
