The second wave of the pandemic is said to be even worst than the first one. India has already registered  a total of 1,42,87,740 cases and 1,74,306 deaths so far, and is still counting. Amidst this globally crisis, CBSE and many state other boards have decided to postponed or cancel the board exams. This has been done keeping the safety of the students at priority. Looking at this, aspirants of JEE Main 2021, NEET 2021, NDA 2021, and other national level entrance exam are demanding the same.

The aspirants of these exams are majorly students of class 12. Due to COVID, the students have not been able to attend schools, coaching classes, or tuition. Additionally, the increasing number of corona virus cases has left students worried for their health.

“Respected @DrRPNishank ji , I request you to please postpone the JEE Mains April & May 2021. As the situation is not conducive outside and Covid-19 cases are surging daily. Please postpone the exam.” tweeted one student on Twitter.

The next JEE Main session is to be held between April 27 and 30. Apart from this, the NEET 2021 exam date is August 01 and NDA 2021 will be held on April 18, 2021. But, So far, no announcement has been made for the postponement of the exams. All of these are big national level exams for which lakhs of students apply. Though govt. SOP are followed while conducting the exam but still can be fatal for the candidates to appear for the exams.

Chances of postponement of JEE Main 2021 April session are 50-50. The exam might not be postponed as it will then clash with the postponed class 12 boards and also the May session of JEE Main. The May session of JEE Main 2021 will be held from May 24 to 28, 2021. However, NTA might postpone the both the sessions, if COVID situation gets worst. In a nutshell, the whole situation is unpredictable, as the major national level exams are to be held starting from the month of April.

NEET 2021 is far away and registration for it has not started yet. NTA can start registration online and exam will only be postponed if the situation is too bad until August.

NDA exam is around the corner. There are many stats which are under lockdown. So, there are high chances that the exam might be postponed. However, so far, there is no official notice for the same. The UPSC NDA 2021 admit card has also already been released by the commission. The aspirants are strongly against holding the exam amidst the huge COVID-19 wave across the nation. Additionally, after the NEET PG 2021 exam postponement announcement, candidates are pushing for the UPSC NDA 2021 exam’s postponement. Candidates must keep an eye on the official website,  upsc.gov.in, for any update in this regard.
