Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has released dates and details for PGIMER B.Sc Nursing 2021 entrance exam. The exam will be held on July 31, 2021. The institute has also started registration for the exam. Nursing aspirants can apply online, at pgimer.edu.in. The last date to register is June 24, 2021.
PGIMER B.Sc Nursing exam is only for those candidates who have completed class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who are yet to appear for the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply. The age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years of age. However, candidates who will be applying for B.Sc Post Basic should not be more than 45 years, as on September 01, 2021.
To apply, eligible candidates have to visit the official website and click on the link for “Notice and Application link for B.Sc Nursing (4 year)”. It is available under the “information for candidates” section. After clicking this link,a new page opens and there will be two separate links for “CLICK HERE FOR B.Sc. NURSING (4 YEARS)” and “CLICK HERE FOR B.Sc. NURSING (POST BASIC)”. Candidates need to click the link for their course and then under the “New Registration” button, enter details like name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and e-mail id.
Once the details are entered, the candidate can register for the exam and access the application form of PGIMER B.Sc Nursing 2021. In the form, candidates need to enter personal, education, address, and other details. Candidates also need to upload images and pay the application fee.
The images are to be scanned and then uploaded. Candidates need to upload a recent passport size colour photo (maximum of 80-200 kb), recent signature (maximum of 50-200 kb). All the images should be in JPEG/JPG format. The application fee for the exam is Rs. 1500. However, for SC / ST candidates it is Rs. 1200. Candidates can pay the fee via net banking, debit card, or credit card.
PGIMER is holding B.Sc Nursing entrance exam for admission in B.Sc Nursing 4 year course and B.Sc Nursing Post Basic course. There are 93 seats for the former course and 62 seats for the latter.
The B.Sc Nurse exam will be conducted online and will have questions from the subjects that the candidate has already studied in the qualifying exam. A total of 100 multiple choice based questions will be asked in the PGIMER B.Sc Nursing exam. The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The duration of the test is fixed at 90 minutes for all candidates.
