Odisha Public Service Commission has released invitation of applications for Assistant Director / Assistant Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Enforcement Officer, and Executive Officer through Odisha Municipal Administrative Services Examination 2019 (Advt no. 03 of 2019-20).
The application forms for the same will be available online from August 06, 2019 to September 05, 2019. Candidates are required to possess a bachelors degree, and they can fill the online applications from the official website of OPSC opsconline.gov.in. Fee payment shall continue until September 11, 2019.
For the post of Assistant Director, Municipal Administration / Assistant Commissioner Group A, there are 5 vacancies. Then there are 4 vacancies for Chief Executive Officer Group A. Enforcement Officer Group A has 3 vacancies, and Executive Officer Group B post has 16 vacancies. In all, there are 28 vacancies.
The group A posts are eligible for pay scale Rs 15,600-39,100 + GP 5,400. Whereas the group B post draws pay scale of Rs 9,300-Rs 34,800 + GP 4,600.
The application fee for the exam is Rs 500. SC and ST of Odisha, persons with disability of more than 40% are exempt from fee payment. All have to right now submit only online application. After result of written exam candidates will have to submit hard copy with photocopies of required documents.
The Odisha Municipal Administrative Services exam consists of two successive stages : Written exam (Objective type – MCQ pattern) and Viva voice test.
The written examination in turn has two papers namely paper I and paper II, each of 2 hours duration. General studies paper I and general studies paper II each are of 200 marks. The written exam will be held at the five zonal centers of Odisha – Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
In order to fill up the form, the eligible candidates have to visit the official portal of OPSC – opsconline.gov.in. They will be able to see the advertisement for the recruitment of the post for Odisha Municipal Administrative Services exam. Then click on apply online button for registration. There will be few terms and conditions to apply for the post. Therefore, the candidates need to read the declaration carefully and apply. They need to enter few details which includes their Basic details (name, gender, date of birth, mother tongue, sub-caste, marital status), Contact details (correspondence and present address), fee details, qualification details and post-qualification work experience, details if debarred by UPSC / OPSC, and upload a scanned photograph and signature of 20 to 100 kb size along with a thumb impression (10 to 100 kb). Recheck the form once again and then submit it.
